Body Combat

Tonight is the night! The night I go to my Body Combat class! Since the start of the new school year, I’ve been taking Body Combat classes, since my Tuesday night was left open after my Hip Hop dance class had been changed to a different day. And I’m loving it! It is one of the most intensive classes you can take at the gym, but the instructor really makes or breaks the class. My instructor puts a ton of effort into it and is very motivating. So, by the end of the class everybody is shouting along just to punch that much harder.

Body Combat is a program by Les Mills which provides more fitness programs such as Body Balance, Body Attack, Body Step etc. Body Combat is a a cardiovascular work out which uses martial arts to get your heart rate going. Imagine throwing punches like jabs and uppercuts and doing high kicks, jump kicks and side kicks. It’s an aweful lot of fun and after a class I’m completely spend. It’s a great way to get rid of my excess energy and it has really helped with my tense shoulders. It’s one of the reasons why it has become my fave work out. It beats Zumba by a mile. So I’m definitely looking forward to the class again tonight!
