Not too long ago, I decided to test a bunch of mascaras. Unfortunately the mascara market is long from saturated, according to the makers, so Maybelline just recently launched a new one: the Volume Express One by One Mascara.

I was a bit jiffy to try this one. I reviewed the Volume Express Colossal mascara for my little test and hated it. I also tried the Falsies mascara and didn’t like that one bit as well. My local drug store had a major discount going on and if I bought 3 products the discount would be the most, so I decided to pick up this mascara as my third product.
And… OMG! I love it! It defines, volumizes and it is clump free! It is capable of catching all my lashes from root to tip and it’s super easy to apply. The brush is the real miracle worker here. It gets to all of my lashes without pulling on them or causing smudging. I don’t even have the waterproof one, but it’s pretty much smudge and stain free and stays on all day. With this mascara, my lashes reach their full potential and look thicker and more defined. Not to mention the fact that I can apply the mascara to the tips of my lashes without my hitting my skin once I get to the top.
I bought this mascara on a whim, not expecting anything and it outlives all mascaras I’ve ever bought, INCLUDING the Dior Iconic Show mascara I used to love. I think this mascara will be my go to one for some time to come.
