For some reason, beauty products and other health products containing Aloe Vera seem to really work for me. I don’t exactly know why, but I just thought I would write a post on some of my favorite products containing this ingredient.
Aloe Vera is actually a plant and whether it is actually a beneficiary ingredient in any product is debatable, but hey whatever works right? According to many health & beauty product manufacturers, Aloe Vera soothes and moisturizes and is therefore used in many products: from baby wipes to drinks. It apparently even helps the treatment of wounds and illnesses such as herpes. To me, it smells nice, it makes my skin silky smooth and last but not least: it’s in the only skincare line that I can use.
Here are my favorite products containing Aloe Vera:
Products from left to right:
Weleda Rhinodoron nose spray with Aloe Vera. This nose spray is homeopathic medicine which I bought at my local pharmacy a few months ago. It’s supposed to moisten, clean and soothe dry nasal glands caused by chronic colds and hayfever. I use it every night before bed time and it works really well. It’s not a ‘real’ medicine and it especially helped when my hayfever was giving me lots of problems in April
Aloe Soothing Moisture Lotion SPF 15 (The Body Shop). I use the entire Aloe line from TBS for my face. It’s the only skincare line that works for me. Cheap drug store brands give me pimples and expensive brands such as Dior, Lancome etc give me rashes or makes my skin itch. This line however, has never given me any problems. I can use this every single day without fail and not get any problems. Also in this picture: Aloe Protective Restoring Mask & the Aloe Calming Toner.
Lloyds Pharmacy Hand Cream with Aloe Vera. My favorite hand cream! My mom gave this to me, because she didn’t like it and I’ve been using it ever since. I had tried so many hand creams already, but most made my hands feel sticky for too long, were too thick or smelled horribly. This one has a very thin formula, that is absorbed quickly and leaves your hands feeling soft & silky. Plus I really like the smell.
Rexona Aloe Vera Fresh Deodorant. I’ve been using several Rexona deodorants in the past year or so, but so far this is my favorite one. Most deodorants give me redness or a pins & needles sort of feeling after putting them on. Rexona ones don’t, but this one is the best so far: it smells nice & fresh, lasts pretty long and it seems to be better for my skin than any other I’ve tried. By the way, you can find this same brand in UK drug stores under the name Sure.
Vaseline Lip Therapy with Aloe Vera. My favorite lip balm (together with Rosebud Salve) to use before I go to bed. I like to apply a nice thick layer of it on my lips and let it soak in over night. The next morning my lips feel so soft it’s ridiculous! It makes for easy application of lipsticks and lipglosses and again, I really like the smell.
Is there a beauty ingredient or smell that you are really into or that simply works for you?

My mother has always been an avid believer in anything with Aloe Vera. She would have an Aloe Vera plant and make us rub the leaves on our faces. Pretty much did help, as we never really had total problem skin haha.
Nice information for Aloe Vera. I am happy to found this Website.I am going to start adding this to my smoothies! Thank you for posting this.
