It’s time for a new outfit of the day with a make up look to match. Now I have to apologize in advance for the quality of some of these pictures. By the time I could take these pictures, the skies had turned an eerie gray color and thunder and lightning was abound. The weather didn’t clear up all night, and I thought the look to be cool enough to take pics anyway. I’ve dubbed this Rocker chic, as it is a very simple and clean outfit, but I think the accessories, my wild hair, the pleather shorts and bright lips give it a bit more edge. As you can tell I went with a very simple outfit, some statement accessories, a fairly neutral eye look and a pop of color on my lips. I had this lipstick lying about for a while, but hadn’t had the guts to wear it yet. And on Monday I just felt like: what the heck, I’ll just do it and wore it to work. I caught an 8 AM train and walked through the train station wearing this. You should have seen those heads turn. Dutch people are not used to girls who wear bright lipstick.

The orange lipstick is great, but the pleather shorts are what caught my attention first, haha! I want pair now…

😉 I bought them from H&M last winter. Perhaps you can still find them somewhere on sale. But H&M do these from time to time anyway so keep your eyes on their collections and you will be able to find them. Forever 21 surely has them too.
