For today’s second post, I thought I’d give you a head’s up to something (I think) exciting I am working on on my Instagram account: @indiequeen84. It’s the Essence 2015 Christmas Advent Calendar featuring nothing but limited edition nail polish related items!
Essence 2015 Christmas Advent Calendar
Last Monday I was at my local drugstore and found the Essence advent calendar at half price. Since I hadn’t heard much about it yet, I decided to buy it, even though we were already a week into the advent. I have been posting about the content ever since. Because I had some catching up to do, I decided to post the first 7 items in one go. But I have been posting about what’s inside the calendar on a daily basis for the past few days. And the plan is to keep going until December 24th when I will open the last door.
The pictures are all posted to my Instagram (@indiequeen84), so follow me there if you want to see exactly what I take out of the calendar every day. I know that the quality of the pictures isn’t the best, but unfortunately by the time I am home from work it is pitch black already (as are the mornings before I leave) so I have to make do with what I have. However, it did give me an idea for a great Christmas Day blog post.
Advent calendar content Day 1 – 7
On Christmas day, I will be making one grant blog post, devoted to the content of the Essence advent calendar. I will ensure to have taken proper pictures of all of these polishes and I will also make sure to include swatches so you can see what the quality is like. In other words, I will create one big round up blog post to show you the prettiness inside. Here’s what I know so far:
The calendar boasts a total of 24 items, 20 of which are nail polishes: 15 limited edition colors and 5 limited edition top coats. The other items are 2 nail files, a set of nail stickers and a mini make up bag, according to the box. The polishes themselves are also mini size, but each contains 5 ml of product, which is a decent size. The colors all seem to be Christmas themed as well, which makes for a nice touch.
I just thought I’d let you know that I am posting daily pictures about the Essence 2015 Christmas Advent Calendar on my Instagram. I will post each polish every day after I get home from work, which means the posts should go up during the early hours of the evening.
