Daily make up routine (March 2016)

It has been aeons since I last showed you a make up look, which is why I figured it was time to do one again. Today I will be showing you how I created the make up look I showed you in my Zoeva eye shadow palette review last Wednesday. In that blog post, I showed three different looks with both the Cocoa Blend and Rose Golden palettes. The first look in that blog post I managed to film for you, and since so many of you seemed to like that, I figured it was a good guess to have all the steps laid out and ready to go. Of course you can use other products to recreate this look, but if you want to know exactly what I used, including brushes then the list of products is posted down below.

Ta-dah! My daily make up routine. While filming this took me roughly 30 minutes to do, but when I am not setting up a camera and having to be in frame, I can do this in 15 – 20 minutes. That is the amount of time I have, to do my make up before I head out the door for work. If I’m running late, I simply skip a few steps in the eye look, and if I’m in a major rush I leave out most of the cheek products, apart from blush.

I love the result this gives. The skin looks natural, yet glowy with a subtle hint of color and sheen. I am not a big fan of the super shimmery highlights and I like the effect the W7 bronze & highlighter gives me. MAC Syrup has been one of my favorite lipsticks lately as it gives me a juicier version of my own lips. So a true, my lips but better shade. And what can I say about this eye look?! I love it when it simply comes together, and that was certainly the case here.
