Eyeshadow palette collection

Happy New Year! For this first day of the year I thought I’d do something quite different and exciting. Today I’m showing you my eyeshadow palette collection. I keep my main palette collection in a separate drawer and when I posted a picture of that drawer on Instagram someone requested I show everything that’s in it. So that’s what I will be doing for you today. I will show you each palette and do some mini reviews at the same time.

These are the palettes I will be showing you!

Yes there is a lot here, but some of these palettes are quite old and I have had for years. This is definitely something I have built up over the years. Truth be told many of these palettes were purchased in the past year and a half to two years. Mainly because that’s when the palette craze really started happening and it took a while for me to hop onto that bandwagon as well. The fact that most of the palettes here are very hard to get in The Netherlands as most brands aren’t readily available here doesn’t make it any easier either.

There is a mixture of both drugstore and high end brands in this drawer. What makes me decide to put a palette in this drawer is packaging: all larger, bulkier packaged palettes go in here. But also the amount of pans. You will notice that most of these palettes contain 12 or more eyeshadows. I have more eyeshadow than this (I know, don’t judge!) as eyeshadow is and always has been my favorite make up product. This video for instance does not include any Sleek, L’Oreal, Maybelline and ELF. I have some of that too, so if you’d like to see that, please let me know in a comment below.

Products mentioned:

Which palette is on your wishlist?
Mine are the Kat Von D Shade and Light Eye and Too Faced Chocolate Bar
Perhaps the new Tarte Pro palette, but I am hearing mixed reviews so I’d want to swatch that before I buy it.
