Last month was of course all about that DIY, so little makeup was worn. However, the past 2 – 3 weeks I’ve been back at work and that means: makeup! I’ve been loving a more natural look again, but with a pop of color on the lips. I’ve been loving bright fuchsias and of course that ultimate fall staple: the berry lip. Here’s the makeup I’ve been reaching for multiple times this month.

Burt’s Bees lip balm – I love a good lip balm and my lips have been getting exceptionally dry and flaky lately. That is why I take extra good care of my lips and never forego a lip balm in my morning makeup routine. Burts Bees is a longstanding favorite. This is the ultra-conditioning kind.
Milani eyeshadow primer – Then it’s time to prime the lids. I’m still loving Milani’s eyeshadow primer for that.
ELF Mineral Infused face primer – New this month is a face primer. I’ve been riding my bicycle to work and that means I get a little hot. To make my makeup last, I’ve decided to experiment with wearing primer and this works wonders!
Essence Make Me Brow & NYX Microbrow pencil – Next step = brows. I’ve still got my trusty Essence brow gel, but I’m back on the brow wagon and have added a pencil to my routine. So far, I’m loving it.
MAC Waterweight foundation – I changed up my foundation as the shade I was wearing became too dark and not right for my skin this time of year. This is a lightweight foundation that I have yet to review.
Too Faced Born This Way Concealer – Concealer has also been changed up. I love the Urban Decay Naked Skin, but the shade I have became too dark as well and so I have swapped it out for this one. So far, I’m loving it.
MAC Prep + Prime Transparent powder – Still using the same powder, but this is definitely on its last legs.
Benefit Hoola Lite – And when I change my base products, I also have to change my face product. I opted for a lighter bronzer and OMG! This is my new favorite product. Review coming soon.
Catrice Prime & Fine Contour – For a bit of shaping, I’v gone back to a trusty favorite.
Hourglass Strobe Light Highlighter – I’ve been into subtle highlights again and what better way than to opt for an Hourglass one?
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush – Mood Exposure is one of my favorite fall time blushes, so it is no surprise this pops up here. I go back to it every year.
MAC Paint Pot Painterly & The Body Shop eyeshadow – This combo is my ride or die combo for priming and setting my lids before applying eyeshadow. I am steadily working my way through these, but these still have a lot of life in them.
Viseart eyeshadow palette Sultry Muse – While I put this in my luxury bottom 5, I have been liking this lately. The rosy tones in this go well with the other products I’m using and look very flattering against my skin tone.
Bite Amuse Bouche Beetroot – For that ultimate berry lip, I’ve been reaching for the creamy yet super pigmented Bite lipstick in Beetroot. Stunning shade, just a shame that it transferred to the tip of my nose after eating a pear the other day.
