Because I have sensitive skin and I can’t find enough reviews or information about products that work well, I have taken it upon myself to put some more information out there. Often I have tried recommended products and have found they don’t work. Even if those products are good for sensitive skin. So if you are like me and you are tired of trying product after product without many results than I hope this blog post helps. 
Best Moisturizers for Sensitive Skin
In this series I take your through some of my favorite products for sensitive skin. These are my tried and true products, many of which I have purchased and repurchased. I already showed you my favorite cleansers for sensitive skin and today we’re talking moisturizer. When it comes to moisturizer, I like more than just face creams: I also like a good face mist and skin essence as I feel they help to give my dry and dehydrated skin that extra boost. These are my favorites.
Olaz Total Effects Moisturizing Cream – This has been my longstanding favorite face cream. I have used this as a day cream and a night cream consistently for years. It is hydrating, it doesn’t irritate my skin and this was pretty much the first face cream that truly did what I need it to do. Sadly, it seems to be discontinued and I have not yet found the perfect replacement.
Kiehl’s Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence – A favorite product that is the first of its kind that I have tried is this skin essence by Kiehl’s. What this does is add a layer of product to help your skin to absorb the products you apply on top. Seems like the most astounding marketing ploy, but I have found great differences in my skin since I started using an essence. In short, it works and I will repurchase this for sure.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist – If a skin essence is too much for you, then you can also add some moisture by spritzing a mist. This is finer and doesn’t need rubbing in which can be good if you have sensitive skin. I have tried two of these: the review this links to is the Vitamin C Face Mist. That is a little more intense than this. The Vitamin E range is milder and thus works better if you have sensitive skin.
La Roche Posay Hydraphase UV Intense Riche – Is your skin sensitive AND you have dry skin? Then La Roche Posay’s Hydraphase line might be something for you. I have had no bad reactions to any of the La Roche Posay products as long as I use them correctly. This product in particular is a great one and it really did something extra for my skin.
La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Nuit – The last product in this shortlist is also the last product I tried. And I am loving it. This is a very lightweight cream which is what the Toleriane Ultra line is all about. I like layering this over a skin essence to really give a bit of extra oomph, but this is a great Toleriane cream that works well for me.

My favourite is the Liz Earle skin repair moisturiser. It is amazing!!!!
Never tried anything by Liz Earle. It’s not a brand that is around much here.
