Shop my Stash | June 2018

Another month has gone which means we are at the halfway point of 2018. That’s right! Six months are gone and for the month of June my makeup went through a little change again. I mainly changed up my face products again. There is a sneak peek of some new products that I am working on reviewing and some old favorites that I am trying to use up and some other products that I just recently fell in love with. So here are the products I used in June 2018. shop my stash june 2018

Shop my Stash | June 2018

MAC Paint Pot & The Body Shop eyeshadow no. 13 – Let’s start with two oldies but goodies. This is my favorite lid combo. The paint pot to cancel out my lid color. The shadow for setting the paint pot. Failsafe combo. Still love it.

Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous foundation – My current foundation is the Covergirl foundation that I love wearing in the summer time. This is so lightweight and easy to wear and it lasts well even on a hot day! This is one I am currently trying to use up, so let’s see how we fare.

The Balm The Balm Desert Blush/ Bronzer – Bronzer wise I went with this for the summer and what a surprise this was. It looked so dark in the pan but I have found this to be a perfect summer time bronzer for me. Love that pinky undertone.

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter – An oldie but a goodie that I decided to try again. Can you see that dip? This is the only highlighter I own that shows this much sign of usage and for good reason. One of the best gold highlighters for fair skin.

Milani Luminoso baked blush – And another OG product! Who remembers this being raved about? I have been into peachy/ coral blushes this spring/ summer and so I decided to pick this up at the beginning of the month. I fell right back in love with it. It’s so flattering on!

Essence Instant Matt setting spray – A new favorite is this setting spray with Essence. I think it rivals the Urban Decay one at a fraction of the price. A good product to look into if you’re looking for a budget friendly setting spray.

Milani eyeshadow primer – Does this still need an explanation? This is still going strong and I am still loving it.

Bobbi Brown corrector – And again, this pops up every month, but the pan is going strong and this is on its last legs. I am actively trying to use this up.

Bobbi Brown pressed powder – Another product I am trying to use up is this powder. It is taking FOR-E-VER. By this point I am absolutely sick of it, but I want to soldier on and get. it. done.

Catrice Light Correcting Serum Primer – I reviewed this product when it launched last year. It is a great glowy primer that is lightweight and makes my makeup last longer. The best of both worlds, but I have found this primer to contain very little product. After just a few weeks of continuous use this is almost gone!

Stila Glitter & Glow Diamond Dust – Brand new in my collection are the Stila Glitter & Glows. Or: glitter made simple. I bought one in London and ordered two new ones straight away. So much love and I have been loving playing around with these.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick Pepper – I also decided to purchase some new Bite lipstick shades. It is one of my favorite bullet lipstick formulas and I wanted to get some more shades because of that. I have reviewed my first shades before, so if you would like to see what I think of these in general than check this blog post.

Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer – A much raved about concealer is the Naked Skin by Urban Decay. I have been using this on natural makeup days. It works great. It has a lightweight coverage. The only problem? This oxidizes on me and it turns a little darker than my skin tone.

Tarte Shape Tape concealer – One concealer that I hadn’t tried much yet was this one by Tarte. I bought this before Tarte became the worst beauty brand to buy from earlier this year. I hadn’t yet really given it a whirl as I think it is quite heavy duty and I don’t need that most of the time.

Maybelline Brow Satin brow pencil – A repurchase. I used on of these up a while ago and I am currently working on the second one. I really like this, which is an unpopular opinion. I only use the pencil side though. The powder side is not that great.

Essence Make Me Brow brow gel – Of course this had to feature. Still using this, still loving this. I don’t think I will need another brow gel in my life. I know, bold statement, but that’s how I feel at the moment.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes & Catrice Glam & Doll Waterproof mascara – Last but not least: mascara. I have been trying to use up some minis of high end mascaras. Two I chucked immediately as they did nothing for my lashes. The Charlotte Tilbury is great, but it smudges very badly. It needs a waterproof mascara just to keep it in place. Sadly, this combo does not last throughout a Bodycombat class.

What makeup have you been using this month?
