Blush is one of my favorite products to reach for in the summer time. It is when I wear some of my brighter more fun shades as I am no longer super pale and therefore can handle a bit more blush on my face. That’s why I thought it would be fun to share with you the blushes I like to wear the most in the summer time. One of these you will have seen in many of my Shop My Stash videos and these are blushes I reach for every year. Here we go!

Benefit Coralista – Coralista is one of my all time favorite blushes. It is an old staple and by now I have hit major pan on this blush. In this picture that is not yet visible, as I took it a while ago, but this year I finally had enough of a dent to show some pan. Blush is incredibly difficult to use up so to have used up that much should be enough evidence of how much I love this blush. It is a nice neutral coral shade with a hint of shimmer. It makes for a natural glowy cheek that I love in the summer time.

The Balm Hot Mama – Hot Mama may seem very similar to Coralista, but it actually is a lot more intense I find. It is very similar to NARS Orgasm though and that’s is why I decluttered that as I prefer this formula. It is perhaps a hint more pink than Coralista or Orgasm and the shimmer is a lot stronger. On my fair, neutral toned skin it looks a lot better than the NARS as it just suits my skin tone a lot better.

Hourglass Diffused Heat – Another longstanding favorite is Diffused Heat by Hourglass. This review is from 2015! It seems a bit intimidating in the pan at first since it’s red. However, since this is infused with a bit of the diffused ambient lighting powder, it is a lot more muted and natural looking. This gives a very pretty flush to the cheeks that works well if I have a bit of a tan. All Hourglass products seem to have a bit of a sheen to them and it just adds to making your skin looking glowy and radiant.

Too Faced Peach Beach – Summer time is the exception to the rule for me when it comes to blush. I prefer a matte blush, but in the summer time I love going for a full on shimmer blush like Too Faced’s Peach Beach. Peach Beach is a very soft natural shade that is universally flattering on many skin tones. Since it comes with three colors you can adapt the look of this blush depending on your needs. Just stick your brush into a different section and the blush will look more peach, bronze or champagne. When you wear this, you don’t even need a highlighter anymore.

Milani Coral Cove – Last but not least the only matte blush that is featured here is Milani’s Coral Cove. Milani do some great blushes and Coral Cove is a stunning shade for the summer time. It is bright but not so much so that it because difficult to pull off. The bright pop of coral on my cheeks works well with bronzer, a bit of a tan and a boatload of highlight. It works well with warmer toned eye looks too and I love wearing those in the summer time.
