Juvia’s Place eyeshadow palette collection 2021

juvia's place eyeshadow palette collection 2021

Today we are kicking off a new video series for 2021! Once a month I will be taking you through my eyeshadow palettes focusing on what I like to call different ‘eyeshadow palette families’. What I mean by that is eyeshadow palettes that go together, mainly because they are from the same brand or fall within the same range. Today we are kicking things off with Juvia’s Place. This is one of my favorite brands for eyeshadow palettes as I love their formula but by now I realize that there are a few that are not my favorite so this section is definitely due a declutter in due time. Not today though, but if you have any experience with these palettes I would love to hear your opinions too as I am still making up my mind as to what to keep and what to declutter. Let’s chat shadows!

  1. I have 6 Juvia’s place palettes: The Tribe, The Douce, The Magic Mini, Nubian 3: Corals, The Violets
and The Nubian Royalty. I first heard about Juvia’s place here! On your blog and I bought The Tribe per your recommendation. It really got me excited about makeup again, particularly eye shadows. Before that I only had 3 palettes total! I don’t really have one favorite Juvia’s Place palette, since they are all good depending on the occasion. However, I don’t like what they’re doing lately with the pressed glitters and the new quads which team up with influencers. All indie companies seem to get too big and start doing the same thing and their quality and good value always goes down. In addition to eye shadow, I like the Juvia’s concealer, but I don’t like their lipstick, at least not the one I tried (The Reds in “So Red”)

    • I haven’t tried anything beyond their eyeshadows. I find it tricky to buy complexion products online and theirs seem very full coverage and matte which is not my cup of tea. I just got a few of their glosses so I can branch out.

      • Yeah the concealer is pretty full coverage. That’s actually why I like it lol. OMG in my comment I forgot to say that I also have Juvia’s Place BLUSH palette Saharan Vol. II and I love it. I’ll probably try more of their blushes in the future.
