IM’Unny Melting Blush review

If you want a great cream blush formula you may have to look in a different place you might expect. K-beauty is great for all things cream and liquid blush and today we are testing and reviewing the IM’UNNY Melting Blush in Plum.

Unfortunately this product is currently out of stock on Yesstyle but it should be back! And this is another one of those products I had expected I had already chatted to you about, but turns out I didn’t. I used it, just hadn’t reviewed it yet. Time to change that as this is a stunning product.

Review: IM’UNNY Melting Blush Plum

When I bought this through the official Yesstyle website I paid €11.10 which is really not that bad as far as any blush goes. Formula wise this very much reminds me of the Fenty Beauty cream blushes and those are at least twice as expensive, so at this price point this is a steal. It is usually available in 5 shades, but the website currently states this item is temporarily out of stock. I do not know when it will be back.

What does this blush have to offer?

Don’t be fooled by the name as this isn’t just a blush. In fact, this is a multi-purpose product that allows you to apply it to your cheeks, lips and eyelids. So this could be a total multichormatic look if you’d like. This is best used with fingers as this starts as a cream that sets down quickly. The name melting blush is apt: this melts away the minute you touch it, but once applied to the face it dries down to a matte powder like finish and doesn’t budget.

What does this blush swatch like?

My favorite part about this blush is how sheer this is. It looks very intense and perhaps a bit intimidating in the pan. But the minute you apply it, it turns out to be the prettiest more cool toned plum blush. There are 4 more shades but those all seemed quite warm toned which is why I picked this. As sheer as this is, you have a lot of control when you apply it and it never looks like too much as a result.

What does this blush look like on the cheeks?

See?! This blush simply gives off the prettiest rosy cheek. It is givingfresh in from the cold and I love how I can apply a bit more to the apples of my cheeks for a more youthful look. The only downside here is that this sets down quickly. So work in thin layers and one cheek at the time. You can blend it a bit with your foundation brush or a sponge if you wish, but with how sheer this is I don’t even feel that is necessary.

Should you buy the IM’UNNY Melting blush?

In my opinion this cream blush is a great one. Do you need it in your life? I think if you want to try an affordable cream blush that will work no matter your skin type this can be nice. It’s a bit of a shame that it is out of stock though and there is no telling when it will be back. So should you try and find this at all costs? No but it is a good one and if you wish to try some K-beauty blush I think this is a good formula to start with.
