It’s been a few weeks since I showed you the new producs that Catrice and Essence brought out for spring/ summer 2019. I first showed you the Catrice products in early February as they are always first. A few weeks later, Essence released their update and I posted my video on the new products in early March. So by now, I have given everything a try: time to give you the full low down.Read more
It’s foundation time again! I have been trying so many different foundations lately and it had been a while since I tried anything by MAC. I used to own the infamous Face & Body foundation and I wanted to repurchase that. But that foundation doesn’t have a great shade match for me and that is why the MUA recommended I try the Waterweight foundation. Texture wise this should be similar to F&B, yet this does come in the classic NC & NW shade range that MAC is known for. How am I getting on with this foundation?Read more
I thought it would be fun to do an overview of some of the eyeshadow palettes that I showed in recent hauls or that were released in recent months. So that is what this video is about. I am sharing my thoughts on 10 different eyeshadow palettes from the new Urban Decay Naked Reloaded to a new ZOEVA palette as well as some palettes that may not be new, but that I just recently tried for the first time. Think ABH Subculture and Colourpop’s Dream Street: yes, I hadn’t tried those yet before. So here we go: my thoughts on 10 eyeshadow palettes that are new to my collection.
The minute I spotted the press releases for the new Catrice update I knew I wanted to get my hands on one of their new Superbia eyeshadow palettes. Since I have been lusting after trying some more cool toned eyeshadows, I knew that the Vol 2 would be right up my alley. How does this eyeshadow palette perform?Read more
Now that spring is here, it is time to update those wardrobes for the nice weather. It’s been a while since I last did a clothing haul. I last did one in September when I updated my closet for the fall time. I bought a few bits here and there over the past few months and that is the result of this haul. Some items you may have already seen as I wore them already, but most of these are brand new. Let me know in a comment below what you last bought and what items you would like me to style up as I am planning a spring lookbook. I have tried to link as many items as I could find, but some items are no longer available.Read more
Essence and Catrice have come out with some seemingly great face palettes for their new spring/ summer 2019 collections. I already reviewed the Essence Hey Cheeks face palette and loved that one. The Catrice palette has a very similar setup to the Essence palette: there are 5 cheek powders. The layout is of course different, but is the quality different too?Read more
