Weleda is an organic skincare brand of which I had yet to try. It’s one of those brands that I’ve seen around, but was never too interested in. Then one day I decided I wanted to try some new skincare and this brand was on sale and I decided: why not. I purchased the Almond Face Cream in the lightweight formula and gave it a whirl.

Welcome to the last day of 2016! As promised, I will be posting my make up favorites of the past year today. There is quite a bit here, which is why I have divided this up into 4 categories: base, face, eyes and lips. I have put links to reviews of these products wherever I can, so if you want to review swatches or what these look like on me, all you have to do is click on through. 2016 was a great year for make up for me and that’s why I’ve selected 20 products for you that were my absolute favorite make up products of 2016.

It’s been more than 2 years ago since I last showed you my current skincare routine. And boy has it changed since then! The products I use and even my skincare routine itself has changed quite a bit. There are about as many products in it, but the products I use and what I use them for have certainly changed. High time that I show you my updated skincare routine.

A brand that has served the world with many of its beauty product classics is Philosphy. I had never tried anything by this brand as it is on the pricey side, but I was intrigued after reading many rave reviews left and right. Hope in a Jar was their classic cream and it was reformulate a while ago and renamed to Renewed Hope in a Jar. I never tried the original, but that doesn’t mean that I cannot form an opinion on this beauty classic.

New Sunday, new video, new hair! In today’s video I would like to talk you through 10 of my holy grail items. Where I moaned about some of my disappointing products a few weeks ago, I decided to give that video a more positive follow up with a holy grail product video. Which items do I love so much I repurchase them time and time again?
These 10 items get a big ole thumbs up from me!
Who could live without a good micellar water these days? I certainly can’t. Even though the Garnier one is my favorite (or the blue capped Bioderma), I do like to venture out and try new things. Earlier this year, I picked up a bottle of the Nivea micellar water. Nivea products have been a staple in my life: I used to swear by their shower gels and always keep a tin of the classic Nivea cream in my house. Will this micellar water make it to the top spot of my skin cleansing routine?

When you keep a blog like me, you try a lot of products. And not all of those products you try are going to work out for you. That’s exactly what has been happening to me lately. Sure, some of these products still work, or I can make them work. But because they aren’t 100% right for me, I know I will get little use out of them. Because no matter how much I love make up and beauty products, there’s a reason why some things become your favorite and other do not. Time to talk to you about some of my beauty and make up duds.
That’s my disappointing ‘meh’ face
