It had been a while since I was last intrigued by a Catrice limited edition collection. Most of them were a bit meh and it hasn’t been since last summer that I found some products I liked in their seasonal limited edition collections. But 2018 is off to a good start with their new Dazzle Bomb limited edition. Sadly, this was released just days before New Year’s Eve. I think this sparkly collection would have better suited a release before the holidays, not when they are almost over. Oh well, this a little bit of glitter can never do no wrong, so let’s have a closer look.

The Catrice Liquid Metal range is one that I love. They did a range of nail polish, eyeshadow and eyeliner. The Liquid Metal eyeshadow and eyeliner were particular favorites, so when I spotted a cream eyeshadow version, I just had to try it. The only shade that stood out to me was a shimmery champagne, so that is what I tried out for you.

You know I love a berry blush for the fall. So when Catrice released their new Strobing blushes as part of their Fall/ Winter 2017 update, I knew that this berry number would be right up my alley. Of course the formula was a new one, so I decided to give it a whirl. I believe these have replaced the Illuminating blushes they used to do. So how do these compare?

Catrice is one of my favorite drugstore brands for nail polish. And even though I haven’t been into doing my nails these past few months, when they launched some new polishes, I knew I had to try them. I already reviewed the new Brown Collection and today we will delve deeper into their new Chrome Fusion line.

Finally! Catrice released some matte lipsticks. They have had different formulas over the years, some of which boast being matte, but those usually came in a different shape than a traditional lipstick. So it was about time that Catrice translated their popular Ultimate… formula into a matte. Catrice is one of my favorite drugstore brands for lipsticks and so I was very curious to try these.

I think one of the most anticipated new releases by Catrice is their professional face palette. I know I got excited when I saw this in store. It is on the pricier side of Catrice products, but if it works well, then it might very well be the first drugstore face palette that actually works. My first impression was good, so let’s see how I feel after using it for some time.

Cream blush & highlight is not exactly the first product I reach for in my day to day makeup routine. However, when Catrice released some very affordable options, I wanted to give it a go. Cream and liquid highlight especially have been making its way more and more into my makeup collection this past year, and I even dipped my toes into liquid bronzer. Since I’ve been feeling more adventurous lately, I’ve put the new Strobe to Glow highlight and Matt to Cheek blush to the test.
