Do brow products have to be expensive? That of course depends on your brow needs. I am of the opinion that brows is an area I can skimp on when it comes to my beauty expenses. My brows are pretty decent: a bit of filling in and some more definition is all they need to frame my face. No need to shape or reshape them (in my opinion), which is why I like to keep things simple and affordable. I decided to try some affordable options by Catrice and Essence.
That a good face powder doesn’t have to cost much was already proven by the Catrice Nude Illusion Loose powder. But since loose powders can be quite messy, I prefer a pressed version. After hearing loads of good stuff about this waterproof powder by Catrice, I decided to give it a go. Will it mattify my make up and make it last?
Catrice has completely revamped their nail polish line. I already spotted them on Instagram, but now I also spotted them in store. I decided to pick up three shades to try out and see how they work. I have yet to wear them on my nails, but I was so enthusiastic at first swatch, that I just couldn’t contain myself and just HAD to write this blog post straightaway.
A very overlooked product from Catrice’s current spring/ summer range are their lip pencils. I haven’t heard anyone talk about these yet and to be quite honest I had all but forgotten about them. When I first spotted these, I was intrigued by their neutral tones. There are two types: lip foundation and velvet matt lip pencils. I tried some from each line.

Peachy blush tones for spring are some of my favorites. Where I wear little to no peach blushes in the winter time and opt for dusty pinks instead, I bust out the peach blush in full throttle every year come spring time. Whether I opt for Milani Luminoso, MAC’s Fresh Honey, or my Kiko Apricot blush, peach is where it is at. When I spotted Catrice doing a stunning peach shade too, I picked it up and tried it out.

Apart from lipsticks, Catrice also launched some other lip products in their spring/ summer 2017 line. I already reviewed the new ombre lipsticks and lip cushion lip glosses, but today we’re taking a closer look at 4 of the more inventive of the lip products Catrice launched. There is a lip scrub, two long lasting waterproof lip stains and a glossy pen like lipstick. These are my thoughts.

For this week’s video, I’ve decided to swatch out all of my Catrice lipsticks. I already did one on all of my MAC lipsticks, which I think you enjoyed. Lipswatch videos truly are a ‘thing’ on Youtube and I’ve watched many on different brands, but I haven’t seen many on Catrice just yet. So I took my 20 Catrice lipsticks and swatched them all out for you, both on my arm as well as on my lips.
