A 16 color eyeshadow palette by Catrice? Sign me up! I wasn’t able to show this in my video, as it was out of stock. But I was able to find it a few weeks ago and decided to give it a go.

In the new Catrice line up, it is all about that glow. Now many of the products are dubbed ‘holographic’, but so far none of the products I have tried come even close to being truly holographic. That said, however, that doesn’t mean these products aren’t pretty or don’t work well. Case in point: the new Galactic liquid highlighter.

When I spotted that Catrice would be releasing a highlighter palette, I was curious. I am not a huge fan of highlighter palettes. Face palettes that include more versatility I can get down with, but a palette just with highlighters is not necessarily my cup of tea. But this promised a holographic glowing effect: the first time Catrice offers something like this and thus my curiosity got the best of me and I ordered this.

A classic powder in Catrice’s makeup line is their All Matt Plus powder. I used to own this in a skin color shade, but never got around to reviewing it. It wasn’t my favorite because the shade was darker than my skin tone. That wasn’t such a big deal in itself: it worked well on my face, but when I went to set my under eye with it, it would darken that area, while I was looking to brighten it. So after a while, I stopped using it and phased it out of my collection. Now that Catrice have come out with a translucent version of that powder, I thought I’d try it again.

Catrice’s new products are here! And they have come out with a bunch of new lip products. So in round one of reviewing the new goodies I showed in my video last week, I thought it would be good to start off with the lipstick I wasn’t able to show you in full then. Say hello to the new Pure Pigments Lip Lacquers.

It’s time! It’s time! Time for the new Catrice Spring/ Summer 2018 edit that is. As always Catrice has just launched their new products for the new season as they do every 6 months. While not yet available in store, I was able to find the products already online. I placed an order and immediately decided to try them all out for you. These are my first impression review and loads of swatches.

It had been a while since I was last intrigued by a Catrice limited edition collection. Most of them were a bit meh and it hasn’t been since last summer that I found some products I liked in their seasonal limited edition collections. But 2018 is off to a good start with their new Dazzle Bomb limited edition. Sadly, this was released just days before New Year’s Eve. I think this sparkly collection would have better suited a release before the holidays, not when they are almost over. Oh well, this a little bit of glitter can never do no wrong, so let’s have a closer look.
