In one of their most recent product line change overs Catrice launched some new brushes: the Triangle Artist brush collection. It features two face brushes and two eyeshadow brushes. And I am always in for trying some affordable brushes and when Catrice makes them, you know they will not break the bank. Let’s see how I fared with these.Read more
The contouring trend is long over, but Catrice still decided to launch a new contouring palette. They did one that is excellent, which I reviewed a long time ago, but sadly that was discontinued. So now they have decided to bring it back, but rather than a shimmery highlight and a contour shade, the reincarnation has a matte highlight banana powder, a matte contour shade and a translucent setting powder. How did I get on?Read more
In the new line for fall/ winter 2018 Catrice has released some new brow products. And I had not yet been able to review those for you. I was still in the midst of using up other products, so it took some time to get around to using these. But now that I have been using them for some weeks, I think it is time to share my thoughts on these products.
In Catrice’s new line up, there are quite a few new, innovative products. The first such product? The Insta To Go Blur Stick. This stick promises to smooth out pores and fine lines and can be applied underneath or on top of makeup. Not a product that my makeup needs necessarily call for, but I was still intrigued.

Over the years I have tried so many Catrice products. And I never did a post or a video where I create a makeup look in which I have used Catrice products exclusively. So it was about time, because I love so many of their products. In a way, today’s video is simply me having a good time, playing around with many of my all time favorite Catrice products. Because if I’m going to do a full face of Catrice products, then I better make it their best ones, don’t I?

I have tried many different Catrice palettes and every time they do one that interests me, I tend to give it a try. My favorite one has to be the The Modern Matt palette, but more recently Catrice released The Blazing Bronze palette. It provides a mixture of neutrals and berries and while this may not be the most exciting palette on the planet, I am still curious to see how it will perform.

In July & September I tried some new Essence & Catrice products in two different first impression videos. I always do these when these two affordable brands change up their makeup lines for the new season, which happens twice a year. So far I have gotten around to reviewing a few of the items I showed in those videos, but not everything will be making the review cut. That is why I figured I would film a video to give you my thoughts on them.
