Everyone has been gushing about the Colourpop eyeshadow formula and so I was dying to try some. Rather than buying one of their ready made palettes, however, I decided to go with singles instead. Why? Because none of the palettes in their line truly tickled my fancy and because I am currently experimenting with a lot more colorful eyeshadows, so I figured I would be better off getting my own custom palette.

In my recent makeup favorites of 2017, I listed Colourpop Hippo as one of my favorite highlighters of the year. And it was a product I had not yet posted online with a review. So it is high time that I got round to doing it. It was not a product that was love at first sight. At first, I hardly used this at all as I wasn’t sure how to use it. But once I had figured it how best to apply it, I fell in love.

Now that Colourpop has been releasing many new makeup products, the attention for the brand seems to have shifted to those newer products. But I like kicking it back old school and focus on some of their OG products. I already reviewed a few of their Ultra Satin liquid lipsticks a while ago, but since I loved them, I decided to get a few more. This time round, I focused on adding some nudes to the collection.

I have a new round of Colourpop eyeshadows for you! Last May, I already showed a first batch, but I got some new ones over the summer that I have been using loads. Colourpop was having a discount on their super shock eyeshadows as well as free international shipping, so I figured it would be worth buying some more. Today I’ll be reviewing all 6 shades for you.

If you’re thinking: hey Maaike, didn’t you do this review a few months ago? Then why, yes, I did, but today’s post will feature some different colors and textures. I simply fell in love with my Colourpop products so much the first time round, that I placed a new order back when they had another discount and free international shipping. Last time I felt I got mostly winter shades, so I wanted to get some brighter and more wearable shades. The more wearable shades will be coming up in a different blog post. So today’s focus will be the brighter shades.

After trying some of the satin and matte liquid lipsticks by Colourpop, I decided to also try some of their eyeshadow. So in the same order I roped in a few of their infamous Super Shock eyeshadows. Is it a cream? Is it a powder? No! It’s the Colourpop Super Shock eyeshadows! I put them to the test.

When I hauled my Colourpop items, you could already see the bits I bought. Apart from the Ultra Satin Lip, I also bought one Lippie Stix and two Ultra Matte Lip. While I loved the formula of the Ultra Satin Lip, the shades I picked up ended up not being the most everyday wearable shades. Would I have better luck with the Lippie Stix & Ultra Matte Lip?
