Colourpop No Filter foundation

colourpop no filter foundation fair 35 review swatch makeup look shade match

In this month’s shop my stash I decided to select the Colourpop No Filter foundation as one of two foundations to use this month. Earlier this year I already reviewed the accompanying concealer in this line. I liked it, but it emphasized my lines a bit because it has a drier, more matte finish. So it didn’t work well with my skin type. So I was skeptical to try the foundation, but since I had it lying about and I hadn’t given it a proper try yet, I finally decided to put in my rotation and review it for you.

colourpop single eyeshadow palette review swatch makeup looks

Yes part 2 and this is late because I went to a concert last night and in the end just couldn’t be bothered to finish this blog post to go live at its usual time. That said, though, I still wanted to get something up today so I am writing this as I am having breakfast. I of course couldn’t withhold you from the beauty of these Colourpop shadows any longer. I already build a palette with some Colourpop singles last year, loved them and bought some more. I had a good play around with these over my summer break and today I am reviewing part 2 of my Colourpop single eyeshadows and show you 4 makeup looks I created using them.

Reorganizing my Colourpop palettes

Reorganizing my Colourpop palettes

For today’s post I just have a quick little video for you in which I rearrange my Colourpop singles. I have bought quite a few of these over the past year. I built my first palette in June 2018. I ended up liking the shadows so much that I decided to do another BYOP (Build Your Own Palette) when there was a sale earlier this year. I have used those now too and so it is time to mix up the ‘old’ and ‘new’ and try to create some more cohesion in these palettes.

Colourpop is known for doing great affordable makeup products. They churn out release after release and it is often difficult to see the wood for the trees when picking what to purchase. I have tried several products, but when it comes to their eyeshadow I have not collected many of their palettes. In fact, I only own two of which one I love and one I feel is a bit meh. My true love for Colourpop eyeshadows? Their singles and I thought it would be fun to talk you through my top 5 best and worst eyeshadow singles by Colourpop.

Colourpop is always an affordable brand and there are so many products by them that I love. I love their Super Shock and Single eyeshadows, their highlighter in Hippo and plenty of their lipsticks. When I saw they had launched face products, I knew I wanted to try. The Colourpop No Filter concealer is one that many people love, so I decided to give it a whirl.

One of my goals for 2019: try more single eyeshadows. So I spent the past few months buying some new ones and that also made me want to reorganize some of my older single shadows. I figured I would film it all and talk you through how I (re)organize my MAC and Inglot shadows as well as some new in Colourpop and indie brand Sidney Grace. Let’s do this!

Last summer I placed an order for some Colourpop singles and by now I have been able to use them enough to tell you how I feel about these. The focus of this blog post, however, will not be the review, but the makeup looks. This is going to be a picture heavy post with looks I created using every single shadow in this palette. If you are interested in seeing how I created the palette, then click this link to see my first impression. For now, let’s just get into the blog post.
