2017 may be over, but I still wanted to talk you through some of my top favorite makeup products of the year that has gone past. I’ve selected products in all different categories except for brows and face powder. The reason? I didn’t have a favorite. In those categories I find I am not too picky and a true favorite hasn’t changed from other years. So apart from brows and powders, these are my favorite makeup products from 2017.

When it comes to applying foundation, I am one who prefers a brush over all methods of application. They are easy to handle, apply the right amount and are easy to clean. But some foundations simply work better when applied with a sponge. If the foundation is richer, thicker and creamier, then a wet sponge may be the best way to apply the foundation. And while the beauty blender is still everyone’s go to, it is rather expensive and so many affordable dupes have been making the rounds. When I found this affordable €2 pack at Primark, I knew I had to try it.

When I decluttered all of my makeup for the move, I totally forgot about going through my brushes and makeup tools. Which is why I decided to do that the other day. Of course I had to film it for you guys. So grab a cup of tea and relax, because today I have an array of brushes to show and you’re in for a long one.

Today I have another makeup decluttering video for you! I decided to split my eye video into two parts, because it would have been an hour long otherwise. So today I am bringing you the rest of my eye collection (minus eyeshadow palettes, those are in a league of their own). I will be going over all of my cream, stick and single eyeshadows in this video and there is a lot here, so let’s stop rambling and get on with the video.

I finally got round to shopping some new Essence products! I know these have been out for a few weeks already, but they are a little bit more difficult to get a hold of for me. That is why I took a little bit longer to order them so I can show you what is new. Not all of the products I am showing you are new to the line, but they are new to me. The result is an almost full face of Essence makeup. The only thing I am not showing you are brows and lashes.

I am pretty true to my makeup brushes. I don’t often try new ones and the ones I use, I have usually used for years. Makeup brushes can also be expensive, but if you take proper care of them, they can last a life time. It is one of those areas where most people will tell you to invest in when you start your makeup journey. But as expensive as makeup brushes can get, lo and behold, there is always a company that will come out with a cheaper dupe. That is the case with this brush set that I found at my local Action. They are a clear dupe for the very expensive Artis brushes that had been intriguing me since I saw them. So how do they work?

In order not to overload you with a almost hour long decluttering video, I decided to split my eye products into two videos. I simply thought that would be easiest. So today’s video will bring you a declutter of all my eye related products that are not eyeshadow. Think both cream, gel and liquid eyeliner as well as eyeliner pencils, brow products, eyeshadow primers and some of the more fun stuff such as glitters and pigments. I hope you enjoy!
