I am no too fussy about what I use for my brows. I have a bit of brow to work with and all I tend to do is a little bit of filling in and setting it with some gel. That’s it. I like my brow products to be easy to use and I find it important that the product I use is cool enough to match my brow shade. Shade wise, I can get away with almost anything, so I am not too fussy about whether a brow product is too light or too dark for me. So let’s see how I fared with the NYX Microbrow brow pencil.

Drugstore products hold my heart. While high end products may be top notch, I love finding those drugstore gems. It means it’s easier to find a dud as well, but at an affordable price point, I don’t really mind. So when I heard lots of great things about the NYX Prismatic single eyeshadows, I knew I wanted to try some for myself. These are my thoughts.

Is it too late to hop onto this bandwagon? I don’t think so. The NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams are a standard in many beauty lovers routine and I wanted to know what the fuss was all about. I used to own one of these in Addis Ababa, but hardly wore it. Turns out that that is one of the worst performing shades in the range. So it wasn’t me. When I found out that some shades perform better than others, I decided to try some more. Now I know what the fuss is all about.

A few months ago I reviewed some of the NYX Liquid Suede liquid lipsticks and loved them. That is why I was curious to see whether their more nude line of liquid lipsticks, the Lip Lingerie, would be as good. I searched online and ordered a few, as well as one Liquid Suede color I wanted to buy, but which had sold out when I bought the others. May I present you: the NYX Lip Lingerie and Liquid Suede lipsticks.

Alas, I did not make it into the Top 20 of the Dutch NYX Face Awards, but that doesn’t mean I cannot continue enjoying the make up brand. One thing NYX has been acing lately are lip products. And since liquid lipsticks are all the rage, NYX has two different lines of them now. While in London, I spotted the Liquid Suede liquid lipsticks and I picked up three shades to try. Today I’ll be reviewing them for you.

Berry lips in spring? You must be thinking I’m crazy, but I don’t think that berry lips should be kept for fall and winter seasons only. Berries can be bright and bold instead of just dark and vampy. Granted it is easy to pull in into that dark and vampy vibe, but with a fresh minimal make up otherwise, with a pop of bright pink on the cheek and a neutral eye, I think it can work even for spring time. And NYX has 3 very perfect berry lip products that can do that trick and give you that look.

One of my favorite elements of doing my make up is doing my brows. I have been blessed with quite a good case of brows if you ask me, so they don’t need that much work. However, I do suffer from the bare patch here and there and my brows do not have a very uniform color. In some parts they are a bit lighter and sparse than others. To create a more sculpted brow, I like filling them in, which I usually do with the Soap & Glory Archery brow pencil. Lately, however, brow pomades are all the rage. It all started with the Anastasia dipbrow, but NYX do a much more affordable option, which I picked up to give a try.
