One of my favorite affordable primers? The Catrice Light Correcting Serum Primer. Catrice are fairly good at doing primers to begin with. I also love their hydrating primer, so when I saw them doing a new shade in one of my favorite primer formulas, you know I had to try it. This claims to be the same primer as the Light Correcting primer, save for the shade. Is this as good? And could this possibly a dupe for a much more expensive Becca primer?Read more
One of the most weird, but possibly innovative new products by Catrice in their Spring/ Summer 2019 line may very well be this one. This is one of those products that if it works well makes you think: why didn’t anything think of this before? However, it could also be a huge gimmick. Let’s test whether the new Catrice Under Eye Primer delivers on its claims.Read more
It’s Sunday today and I have another decluttering video for you. Today we’ll be finishing off the base products with powders, primers and setting sprays. I don’t have too many in each category, so that is why I am grouping those together. After this, we still have blush, bronzer, highlighter and face palettes left, so I have plenty more to come. So stay tuned and in the mean time I hope you enjoy today’s video. Have a great Sunday!Read more
Now that I am trying more and more primers, I am slowly but surely figuring out what I like my primers to be. I want them to be hydrating. I want them to make my makeup last and I want them to be preferably affordable. After using up the Catrice Fresh it Up primer, which I loved, I decided to not repurchase it straight away, but to try another hydrating primer I still had in my collection. Here are my thoughts on the NYX Hydra Touch primer.Read more
A good affordable primer is hard to come by and so whenever I find one that sounds interesting I always want to give them a try. For their new fall/ winter 2018 make up line, Essence released three different ones and I decided to pick up one. Meet the Essence Prime + Studio Glow Boosting Primer.

Primer. I am still on the fence on which one I love the most. So I just keep trying different ones till I have a good feel for some of the offerings on the market. A recent primer release that I was looking forward to trying was the Smashbox Primerizer. I heard so many people raving about this when it first launched. It is quite pricey, but when I found it as a travel sized version, I knew I had to try it.

I haven’t had much luck trying super affordable eyeshadow primers. I have used some, one even by Catrice, and none of them did the trick for me. The most successful eyeshadow primer I’ve tried at the most affordable price point is the Milani eyeshadow primer. But now there is a new contender. Catrice have released a new eyeshadow primer for their fall/ winter 2018 collection. Is it any good?
