It’s foundation time again! I have been trying so many different foundations lately and it had been a while since I tried anything by MAC. I used to own the infamous Face & Body foundation and I wanted to repurchase that. But that foundation doesn’t have a great shade match for me and that is why the MUA recommended I try the Waterweight foundation. Texture wise this should be similar to F&B, yet this does come in the classic NC & NW shade range that MAC is known for. How am I getting on with this foundation?Read more
I thought it would be fun to do an overview of some of the eyeshadow palettes that I showed in recent hauls or that were released in recent months. So that is what this video is about. I am sharing my thoughts on 10 different eyeshadow palettes from the new Urban Decay Naked Reloaded to a new ZOEVA palette as well as some palettes that may not be new, but that I just recently tried for the first time. Think ABH Subculture and Colourpop’s Dream Street: yes, I hadn’t tried those yet before. So here we go: my thoughts on 10 eyeshadow palettes that are new to my collection.
The minute I spotted the press releases for the new Catrice update I knew I wanted to get my hands on one of their new Superbia eyeshadow palettes. This is a set of 2 palettes: Vol 1 being warm toned in Warm Copper and Vol 2 being cool toned in Frosted Taupe. Since I have been lusting after trying some more cool toned eyeshadows, I knew that the Vol 2 would be right up my alley. How does this eyeshadow palette perform?Read more
Essence and Catrice have come out with some seemingly great face palettes for their new spring/ summer 2019 collections. I already reviewed the Essence Hey Cheeks face palette and loved that one. The Catrice palette has a very similar setup to the Essence palette: there are 5 cheek powders. The layout is of course different, but is the quality different too?Read more
Not everyone believes in eye cream, but I am a firm believer in the stuff. The reason for that is because I have found plenty of eye creams that work for me. If I don’t use the stuff, I get bumps around my eyes and my makeup creases more. If I use it, my eye area never feels dry, there are fewer noticeable fine lines and makeup sits better on my skin. Because I like the Origins Ginzing moisturizer, I thought I would also try the corresponding eye cream.Read more
Drugstore base products are always fun to try and Wet N Wild is a drugstore brand that has a ton of good products. I already tried their Photofocus foundation, but I knew there was a concealer to match. The foundation worked well enough for me, but it wasn’t my favorite, but I was still curious to see what the concealer would be like.Read more
New from Essence are a series of eyeshadow palettes. The series consists of four different palettes and each palette is inspired by a different world city. I bought two of them and today I am reviewing the first one for you: Hello New York. This palette is the first, because it is cool toned and I am currently all about that cool toned life. Is it any good?Read more
