In my recent makeup favorites of 2017, I listed Colourpop Hippo as one of my favorite highlighters of the year. And it was a product I had not yet posted online with a review. So it is high time that I got round to doing it. It was not a product that was love at first sight. At first, I hardly used this at all as I wasn’t sure how to use it. But once I had figured it how best to apply it, I fell in love.

You will have seen this concealer propping up in my Shop My Stash posts from December and November and it’s therefore high time it gets its own review. The Kat Von D products I have tried so far I have liked, but I had yet to try some of her face products. With Kat Von D being a tattoo artist, I would of course have high hopes for the coverage of this concealer. I heard great things about this before I bought it. These are my thoughts.

Better late than never, that’s when I thought when I finally purchased the Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette. The last Too Faced Chocolate palette that was still missing from my makeup collection. I already owned the Semi-Sweet, Chocolate Bon Bons and Sweet Peach palettes. I never bought this one, because it appealed to me the least. I mainly got it to round off the collection and because it is one of the most hyped up palettes in recent times. What do I think now that I have been using it for some weeks?

One of my favorite skincare lines of all time is La Roche Posay. I have tried a few of their day creams, most notably their Toleriane Ultra and Hydraphase face creams. When I last spotted the brand, I saw a cream I had not yet tried: Toleriane Ultra Nuit. Since I generally like their products and I was looking for a new night time cream to try, I decided to pick it up.

It had been a while since I was last intrigued by a Catrice limited edition collection. Most of them were a bit meh and it hasn’t been since last summer that I found some products I liked in their seasonal limited edition collections. But 2018 is off to a good start with their new Dazzle Bomb limited edition. Sadly, this was released just days before New Year’s Eve. I think this sparkly collection would have better suited a release before the holidays, not when they are almost over. Oh well, this a little bit of glitter can never do no wrong, so let’s have a closer look.

The drugstore has finally jumped on the liquid lipstick band wagon. And how! First Maybelline released their Superstay Lip Inks, which made it to my 2017 favorites list and now Rimmel is following suit with their new Stay Matte lip. Will this formula be as wonderful as the Maybelline one?

Essence just released their new limited edition for winter 2017. When I spotted they do a 12 pan eyeshadow palette that reminds me of Urban Decay’s Naked 3 palette, I knew I had to try to get my hands on it. The new Winter Dreams eyeshadow palette is surprisingly good in my opinion.
