In terms of skincare I love all the products I have tried from Kiehls so far. So it was time I’d try another product. I love a good face spray in the morning to act as a first layer of hydration. So far, I have tried some by The Body Shop which I loved and so I couldn’t wait to try some of this.

I have a confession to make: I do not like lipgloss. So then why am I reviewing a lipgloss today? Well, from time to time, I have these moments where I go: but what if this lipgloss isn’t sticky?! That is what happened when I decided to buy a ‘holographic’ lipgloss by Catrice when they launched their spring/ summer collection. Their Prismatic lipgloss promises to have a holographic and prismatic effect, which just sounded really pretty to me.

One of my favorite cheek products for the summer time is the I Heart Makeup Love Hot Summer bronzer. I am usually not a fan of glowy blush or bronzer, but for the summer time I like making an exception. Since I tend to wear less makeup as it is warmer, I like going for products that can do three things in one go: add warmth, add color and lastly to add a healthy glow. The minute I spotted his product on Instagram I knew it would tick off all those boxes for me. Here’s why I love it so much.

So I gave my backlog of reviews a good clean out. I had folders with pictures lurking in the nooks and crannies of my blogging files that go back three years! Three years! Since I cannot review ALL the makeup, I decided to delete those and try to go through some older products at the same time. This is one of them. Essence released this concealer last year and I figured it was about time that I got around to giving it a full review.

I am continuing my matte eyeshadow palette review with a palette that I wasn’t much interested in when it first released. Matte eyeshadows are a necessary evil to me: they will make any eyeshadow look work, but I prefer a good shimmer over a matte shadow any day of the week. But after trying and reviewing several matte palettes, I couldn’t leave this one out.

After trying and loving a €2 face oil by Kruidvat, I knew it was time to try a more high end version. Since my love for TBS skincare is well known by now, it should come as no surprise that I wanted to try one by them first up. I have tried serums that represent an oil and come with a dropper before (e.g. by Kiehl’s and TBS), but apart from the Kruidvat Almond oil, I have never tried another straight up face oil. Time to remedy that!

Look who finally jumped on the bandwagon? Yep, that would be me. I finally caved and decided to try an Ofra highlighter. These are much raved about and now also come in some additional shades. I went with the OG Rodeo Drive shade. I initially wanted to get Blissful, but after doing some research I decided that it may be too dark for me. As if fate decided to settle the matter for me, that one was also out of stock when I decided to buy one. So, Rodeo Drive ended up being my choice. How did I get on?
