One of my wishes to try for 2019 were some good exfoliants. I had always used physical exfoliants before and they worked well enough, but I had also heard they aren’t the best for your skin or the environment. So I decided to try a chemical exfoliator instead. With my skin being quite sensitive, I was reluctant at first, but then read up on acids and their uses and found that a lactic acid is the gentlest kind and great to get started. These are my experiences so far.Read more
I feel it’s been some time since I last reviewed a skincare product and that’s easily explained: I just wasn’t trying anything new. With skincare I love using up what I have before opening up a new product. Not only is that more sustainable, it also means the product cannot expire before you can use it up and you really get to try a product. One brand known for its no nonsense skincare items at an affordable price point? The Ordinary of course! And because of that I have been really curious to try more of their products. Because every skin needs hydration and one of the best ways to do that is via a face oil.Read more

The coverage foundation promises to be more full coverage, but since I prefer a light to medium coverage foundation I decided to try the serum foundation.Read more
A skincare brand I had been wanting to try for some time is The Ordinary. A while ago, the Internet was abuzz with how well this affordable skincare brand should work. The idea is simple: simple ingredients that are stripped down to its core at an affordable price point that just does what it says in the tin. I finally got my hands on some of their products when I last was in London. How did I fare with The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5?
