It’s summer time, which means that it’s the season where makeup melts straight off your face and you feel sticky and yucky all day long. A reason for me to adapt my makeup look and go for a more sweat and perhaps even waterproof makeup look. It takes half the time of my usual makeup routine as it focuses on using the bare, bare minimum of product.

Today I thought I’d change up my monthly make up look by revolving it around my current make up favorites. So this video is a 2-in-1. There have been quite a few products I’ve been loving in the month of February. For example, the eye look in this video I’ve worn more than once and that is quite extraordinary as I never truly recreate a make up look. But time and the sheer prettiness of this look just worked and that’s why I decided to lump it all together in one make up look.
All of my February favorites on my face in one make up look
For the last video of January I am bringing you an affordable make up look. I have changed up my make up routine ever so slightly this month and mostly I’ve been using affordable products. I also wanted to showcase some of the new Catrice products which I showed you last week. The only products not from the drugstore are my eyeshadow primer and my brow gel. I simply haven’t found any great alternatives yet or they are products that I like using up completely before opening a new tube, which means that I simply use what I have.

Merry Christmas!!! Today is Christmas Day and what better video to put up than a festive make up look? I decided to steer clear of the standard red and gold look for this one and focused on purple and shimmer instead. I use some trusted favorites and use some brand spanking new products as well. I hope you enjoy and have a great Christmas/ whatever holiday you might be celebrating this time of year.

While in London, I came, I walked and I shopped. Not only books like I showed you last week, but also some make up products. Rather than doing a haul, I decided to record a video where I try some of those new products live on my face. I also give you a full recap at the end to show you how well the make up lasted throughout a full day of wear. I hope you enjoy this type of video, it’s something different again, and let me know in a comment below what your favorite product is that I used!
Let’s put some new make up to the test!
I had grand plans to write a long post on how I exactly write my blogs. Due to the loveliest of lovely weathers and my willingness to enjoy as much of it as I possibly can, I figured that that would have to wait a bit. Instead, I would like to show you the following writing tips.
In the picture you will find classic rules on writing. Things your teachers in school probably told you not to do time and time again. Yet, in real, actual language, these type of constructions pop up more than you can count. In school writings it may still be a bad idea to use these writing techniques, but for blogging or any other casual form of writing these might come in handy. So even though you may have been told otherwise: mix those metaphors, end your sentences with prepositions and bring on the alliteration! As long as it has a function, you can still use this.
I found this on a site called imgur.com. It has a ton of pictures on there, most of them funny and I just happened to come across this. I think it’s very apt at showing how most of the time you’re told to do A, but in fact B sometimes works better. Writing rules should be taken with a grain of salt. Especially when it comes to casual writing.
Enjoy your weekend and I hope that the weather is as nice where you are as it is over here.
