30 Day Make Up Challenge #3: Green

We are still on the color themes of the 30 day make up challenge. The first 10 rounds are, and we are now at round no. 3 which calls for a green make up look. I went with this very autumnal looks, with a mossy green eye and a plum colored lip. It’s a mix of both drugstore and high end products, so I hope you enjoy!

On these pictures the eyes look kind of muted down, but in real life it looked much smokier and heavier. I don’t mind the subtle though. It’s a nice touch combined with that fairly bold lip color. And very fall like if you ask me: the lip color is a deep burgundy shade which makes this so much more fall appropriate.

Read on to find out which products I’ve used.

I realized after taking the pics, that it looks like I have a patch of bare skin in my crease. As you may see on the pictures where I have my eyes open, you will see I have quite the fold and I applied the crease color with my eyes open. You only see it when I close my eyes anyway which, during the day, I don’t usually have.

  1. Mooi, heel herfstig maar toch fris, en de kleurtjes staan je erg goed, je huid ziet er heel erg mooi uit imo!

  2. […] Let’s kick things off with a bang shall we? One of my favorite fall colors is this matte berry color that I picked up from Selfridge’s on my last trip to London. It is one of my first Illamasqua products and dare I say it has made me want more. This lipstick has a gorgeous color, great lasting power and it is matte. If you care to see what it looks like on, here is a post where I’m wearing it. […]

  3. […] For a long time I went without a single MSF in my collection. I didn’t like Soft & Gentle enough to buy it, especially because I own a drugstore dupe of that one. So I had to wait for a nice one to catch my eye in a limited edition. And what sells out first in any MAC limited edition? Yes, the MSFs. I happened to bump into this one at the airport last year and decided to take it home. This has a lot of color pigment and is one of those MSFs that can be worn as a blush. I love the warm pink color this has and I find it very flattering on myself. You can see it on my cheeks in this blog post. […]

  4. […] Let’s start off with the most budgetproof blush of them all. This blush is highly pigmented and goes on beautifully. The color looks very pink in the pan, but once on your skin you will find it to be much more warm and a bit peachy. It has a mauve undertone and is a perfect warm toned blush for fall. The color goes with almost every eye look and the price is phenomenal. I think this costs less than 5 euros. Just make sure you apply this with a light hand, or you’ll look like a clown. See it on my cheeks here. […]

  5. […] I bought this lipstick in London last year. I really wanted to try some Illamasqua products and had heard great things about their lipsticks. So I picked up this dark plum shade. It is definitely purple and fully matte. It’s a little waxy and drags when you put it on, but once it’s on this baby will not budge. It is long-wearing and the color is stunning. I used it in my most recent get ready with me video. This lipstick is a dream, but isn’t cheap, I think this was around 20 euros. I am also wearing it in this blog post. […]
