Are you ready for a rave review? Because I have a product for you today that I am very much in love with. This bronzer made it very high up my list of all time favorite bronzers for pale skin and I am finally getting around to writing a full review. The Kiko Flawless Fusion bronzer in shade 01 was an instant lovefest as it was not only fair enough, I also loved the formula. It just has so much going for it and I am currently testing out some comparable bronzers to see if they are anything like this. Because this may be good, but maybe there is something similar out there that may be easier for people to get a hold of.
Review: Kiko Flawless Fusion bronzer 01 Natural Tan
But let’s get to this bronzer first! This bronzer is one that I bought because I was going to film a full face of Kiko. So this was a bit of a: I have to buy this to have something kind of purchase that I wasn’t expecting much from. But then I tried it and I ended up loving this. Not only is a good product, it also isn’t that expensive. At €10.99 this is a great bronzer that is light enough for me and that still has a great formula too.
What does this bronzer have to offer?
The Kiko Milano bronzer is from their ‘fusion’ line. This line contains some of my favorite Kiko products. I already owned and loved one of their fusion blushes and highlighters. So I shouldn’t have been surprised when I ended up liking the bronzer too. This comes in 6 different shades, comes with 12 grams of product and it is really isn’t that expensive. Not only does it come in different shades, this shade, 01, which is the lightest shade available is also perfect if you have light skin with a cool undertone. Where many bronzers can be muddy, too deep and orange looking on me, this bronzer is spot on.
What is the bronzer like?
What impressed me most about this bronzer wasn’t just the shade though. It also has a great, very finely milled texture that makes this bronzer easy to blend and it really looks like skin. The shade is deep enough for it to warm up my skin and the formula is just stellar. Trying it, it really reminded me of the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush bronzer texture wise and I have heard rumors that Kiko (and also Milani) are made in the same factory as CT products. So guess what I am doing at the moment? Yes, also testing out the Charlotte Tilbury AND Milani bronzers to see if they are anything like this. So stay tuned for my next Shop My Stash because then I will have tried all three and I will be swatching them side by side and give you my thoughts on how similar they are.
How does this bronzer swatch?
When I say: this bronzer looks very natural than I think this swatch shows you exactly what I mean. This bronzer doesn’t look too heavy and the shade is so light that is barely shows up in a finger swatch. You can see that the bronzer has a slight sheen but it’s not overly glowy: this makes it even more natural looking. The undertone of this bronzer is also perfect: it has a slight yellow undertone and I find that yellow undertones in bronzers are much more flattering on me than reddish, pink or orange toned bronzers.
What does this bronzer look like on my face?
In this pictures you can see my makeup before and after bronzer. As you can see, where the swatch barely even showed up on the back of my hand, this bronzer just works on my face. You can clearly see how it warms up the face, but still in a natural way. This isn’t the kind of bronzer that is just going to give you that overly bronzed look. This is the type of bronzer that gives you a natural color to your skin that just adds a bit of health back into your overall look. It’s just enough for what I need.
My final thoughts
The Kiko Milano Flawless Fusion bronzer is one of my current favorites for a reason. For a matte bronzer, this would be my pick and for a glowy look I like going for the Nabla Skin Glazing bronzing powder in Ambra. Those would be my two favorite picks and the Kiko is also more affordable than the Nabla. The bronzer just sits well on the skin, it looks flawless every time and I just can’t overdo it. And to me, that’s just exactly what I am looking for in a bronzer.
Would I recommend the Kiko Flawless Fusion bronzer?
Yes! If this comes in your shade, I would definitely try it. From what I can find online, I can’t say much on how the other shades look. It’s good there are 6, but online they all seem to look quite similary. So I am not sure there is enough variety here, but if you want a bronzer that looks super natural and is great for everyday: try this, because it is lovely.
