When you love a product, what do you do? You get more! The Fenty Beauty Suede blush in Wattabrat was a success, so I was intrigued to also try it in another shade. And since I am still looking for the best purple blush I wanted to try Drama Class. So let’s review the Fenty Beauty Suede Powder Blush in Drama Class.

Drama Class is one out of 14 available shades. When these suede blushes were announce it was the shade I wanted to own most. But then I found out that this beautiful purple would not make it to stores and would be online only. That’s a shame, but it’s also why I first bought a shade I saw in store (also beautiful and cool toned!), fell in love and knew I wanted this too.
Review: Fenty Beauty Fenty Cheeks Suede Blush in Drama Class
Because this is only available online through the official Fenty Beauty website you will be hit with some shipping fees. Luckily any additional fees are paid up front so if you aren’t in the US you will not be hit with any surprise fees. At €27 this isn’t a cheap blush, but for what you get it is quite reasonable. This powder comes with 4 grams of product. A little less than most blushes, but when is the last time you used up a blush?
What does this blush have to offer?

So what I loved about the first Suede blush I tried is that while this is a powder it is very soft and buttery feeling. There is a bit of glow and intense pigment but still it is easy to use. It just has all the benefits of a good blush and ticks all the boxes. Drama Class is no different. The sheen on this is fairly similar to Whattabrat, but this is definitely a true purple, which is great.
What does this look like in a swatch?

Swatched on the back of my hand you can see how much blue this has. Especially in the glowy finish there is a lot of blue/ lavender sheen which is very pretty. The base is a pinky purple and therefore this does look a bit pinky on my cheeks as well. Still there is something effortless and whimsical about this blush shade, which I really appreciate. It is bright, vibrant and you are definitely wearing blush when you put this on.
What does this look like on the cheeks?

On the cheeks there is barely any difference between this and the cream shade. I would say this is a touch easier to apply than the cream is. So my preference goes to the powder version. Both shades are similar, wear time is the same and this powder blush has a beautiful sheen that I feel a bit more obvious than in the cream version. It blends easily, looks great if you have a cool undertone and it surprisingly goes with a lot more than you might expect.
Should you buy the Fenty Beauty Suede blush in Drama Class?

I think these Fenty Beauty Suese blushes are something else. They are easy to use, the shades are fun and more unique and they last long on the cheeks. I love the look of Drama Class, but if you already own the cream version you definitely don’t need both. You could of course layer these, but that would make for a very intense blush look. This by itself is just enough for me and I love a shade like this in winter.
Pros:
- Beautiful shade
- Healthy glow
- Easy to use formula
Cons
- Only available online
- The same effect as the cream version
