FOTD: Green with Envy

The last time I posted a look, I showed you my take on the 1920s flapper girl look. That is why I thought it was time to show you a more contemporary look again. I loved the look I made the other day, but unfortunately taking pictures somehow was a feat that day. My camera is the worst at picking up color so excuse some of the blurriness of some of these pictures, but it was either a washed out picture that is sharp (and you couldn’t see a thing) or a slightly blurry one where you could actually see the colors and the look. If you know of any cameras that are good at showing true colors than please let me know in the comments below, because I am looking to replace my current camera before I go on vacation in July.

Products used:

Eyes: Inglot palette colors Matte 239 (crease), AMC Shine 32 (outer V, lower lash line), Matte 345 (eye lid, inner corner lower lash line), Pearl 453 (inner corner highlight). The Body Shop matte white eyeshadow on brow bone. Bobby Brown Shimmer Ink gel eyeliner in Ivy. I also used NYX Jumbo Pencil in white as a base to make the color pop a bit more.

Face: Missha BB Cream in 13 Bright Beige, MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural in Medium, Blush Benefit Bella Bamba, NARS Laguna bronzer.

Lip: Benefit Rocket Pop lipstick

Other: MAC Omega eyeshadow to fill in brows, Too Faced Shadow Insurance eyeshadow base, The Body Shop clear eyebrow gel, Maybelline The Falsies Flared mascara.

Excuse the hair! I had just gotten out of the shower when I took these. This shot is also fairly washed out. I most likely stood too close to my window. Meh.

I decided to also throw in a quick look of my outfit of the day.

– Floral playsuit/ romper: F21

– Black cardigan: GAP

– Converse sneakers

I just love these Inglot eyeshadows I used. They look so summery and fresh. It instantly makes for a nice bright look I think. What are your opinions?
