Glitter summer nails

I just painted my nails and for the first time in over a month I had the urge to share a post with you all again. I know it’s been a while and I think I’ll write something about that soon, but right now I’d like to cut to the chase and show you this super summery and fun, glittery nail look.

As you can see this look features a bright bright green. It’s almost a neon mint green color. It’s far brighter than the picture, but this is the best my camera could do. The glitters add a fun touch and I decided to paint alternating nails with an extra coat of glitter. So five are all creamy bright green looking and the other 5 have a gold/ purple/ green glitter over the top.

Here’s what I used:

– base coat (L’Oreal Miracle Repair)

– Bourjois Green Fizz (1 Seconde line)

– Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 106

– Top coat (INM out the door)

Close ups:

I think the green makes this a perfect summer nail look and excuse the sloppyness on my ringfinger. Unfortunately when my nails grow out the ones on my ringfinger don’t grow straight which makes them a pain to polish. On top of that the Bourjois polish was very thick and gloopy but I still needed two coats to completely cover my nails, which didn’t help much.

I hope you enjoyed and let me know what you think of this nail look and how your summer is going in a comment below!
