Spring has sprung tag

This tag has been floating around for a while and I thought it looked fun to do. Here are my answers to the questions. Oh and a pretty picture I shot last week while on the train to Amsterdam! Spring in Holland = fields of flowers.

What are some spring trends you’re looking forward to the most?
I really like black & white and baby blue at the moment. Oh and coral and floral print.

What’s your favorite spring clothing piece?
A button down shirt! You could have guessed that if you saw my first spring lookbook installment on Friday. I love button down shirts for spring and wear them all the time. Preferably in a spring appropriate color of course

What do you do during your spring break?
Spring break was already in February for me, but there is another break coming up in the first week of May. Not too many plans yet, but I’m cooking for friends and I’ll be visiting a shoe exhibition at a museum in Rotterdam with a friend.

Is it warm or cold during spring where u live?
Bit of both: during the day it can be nice weather but early mornings and late nights are still freezing. I find you still need to dress warm enough as it’s also been quite windy lately which instantly makes for cooler weather.

What’s your favorite spring lip color?
As long as it’s a bright lipstick color I’m good. Pinks, reds, and corals are my favorites, but I’ve also taken to wearing darker colors on my lips and I have an orange lipstick lying about that needs busting out.

Favorite spring nail polish color?
I just wrote a blog post about this 2 weeks ago! You can find that post by clicking here. To give you a clue: think baby pink, pastel green & blue, periwinkle and coral.

Favorite spring color?
This year it’s coral pink. Last year I was loving lilac and periwinkle, and I’m still liking those as well.

Favorite Starbucks drink during spring?
If it’s warm enough a skinny caramel cream frappucino with whipped cream. If it’s too cold for that I’ll go for a skinny caramel machiatto or a skinny chai tea latte. The latter is my usual Starbucks order.

Do you add color to your makeup for spring?
I sure do! If you scroll down and find yesterday’s post you’ll see just how I do that: by adding a bright lipstick. However, I also have eyeshadows that I only bring out come spring time, such as my 10 pan Inglot palette as it’s filled with lilac, lavender, periwinkle and some other pastel colors.

What are you most excited about for spring 2014?!
I was most excited about going to see Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 experience, but that was last Friday so it doesn’t really count. I had a blast though. So now I’d have to say I’m looking forward to hanging out with friends and working on getting better.
