Are you looking for a great fall scent? Then try Hermes Twilly Eau Poivrée. I have been wearing this loads lately and I have been loving it.
Now I am normally not someone who sticks to certain season for wearing things, but with fragrance I love a warmer and cozier scent than I do in other seasons. And Hermes Twilly d’Hermès Eau Poivrée is just that.
This is a sweet and spicy scent that I have been loving this fall season. Maybe this is something you might like too!
What does this fragrance have to offer?
Hermes Twilly is a full line of fragrances of which Eau Poivrée stood out to me the most. I don’t remember exactly anymore how I ended up being interested in this anymore, but I do know what I like about it.
My description of this fragrance would be a warm hug: there is a hint of something sweet, while at the same time quite spicy as well. It isn’t a very heavy fragrance as there is a hint of freshness too but this has good projection and lasting power on me.
What are the fragrance notes?
When I looked up the fragrance notes I instantly remembered why I wanted to try it. The top note is pink pepper! That is one of my favorite fragrance notes as many of my all time holy grail fragrances contain this in the top notes as well.
The middle note contains rose, which is not usually a favorite. When I think rose, I think old lady but maybe it’s the childish looking bottle, this never smells dated or like something your grandma would wear.
Finally, the base note is patchouli. Again, not a favorite as I often find it too heady and it is the one fragrance note I have been able to identify as one can set off my asthma. But when I wear this I am absolutely fine.
Should you buy Hermes Twilly d’Hermès Eau Poivree?
I think this is a lovely perfume, but it is also quite pricey. I am showing the 50 ml bottle here and that retails for around €75. I did get a discount when I bought mine.
The packaging is what actually made me doubt my purchase for a long time. It looks a bit young and I find the looks can be deceiving as I would not expect this fragrance to be as warm and rich based on the packaging alone.
If you love warm, spicy fragrance that remind you of chai lattes and ginger candy, then this is a perfume you may very much enjoy.

I did not care for it as much as the original twilly and did not last as long on my skin. Returned and got a refund. Ended up purchasing the original on a buy and sell website for next to nothing. Brand new sealed in box unused. Great buy.
