You know how I tend to forget to review products? Here’s another one for you. What part of my brain thought it was okay to not review the Dior Forever Skin Correct concealer till now, I really don’t know, but it happened so here we are. But without beating about the bush: I love this thing to pieces.

Why didn’t I review this you ask? It simply was bought and then forgotten. I bought it specifically for a ‘full face of Dior’ video I did a while ago and then didn’t use it much again as I thought the shade was too dark for me. But now that I have fully committed to trying it in a Shop My Stash I have found out I was very very wrong indeed.
Review: Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer 1N
The reason why it would be a shame to let this go to waste is the price point. At full price this retails for €40. That is a lot for concealer, but that said, you do get 11 mls of product in a tube which is more than most concealers. So not only do you pay more, you also get more.
What does this concealer have to offer?

First of all, this comes in 30 shades. For a while 1N was the lightest shade I could find, but shade 0N is now available here. I still think that shade might be better for me, but I have found I can get away with 1N just fine.
Secondly there is the packaging: a massive doe foot, sturdy packaging and a stunning formula is all you need to get the right concealer. This lasts long on the skin, doesn’t crease on my undereyes and it blends in beautifully. What else do you want?
How does this concealer swatch?

As mentioned I think a shade lighter would be better for me, but this swatch and how it blends out just shows how great this product is. It starts off a touch too yellow and dark but blended into the skin this is undetectable. It isn’t too matte, nor is it too glowy and it doesn’t make my mascara smudge. This is the type of concealer you can use all over your face: to hide blemishes but also to cover dark circles and redness. It’s a true workhorse of a makeup product.
What is the coverage like?

But does it have coverage? I’d say yes! It has a medium to full buildable coverage but I personally just go in with one layer as it is all I need. It looks very natural on, doesn’t look cakey and it just looks seamless. I only need a little bit so I know that 11 mls of product will last me a long while. I love the texture, I love how it wears throughout the day and I love this just goes with everything. A true true staple.
Should you buy the Dior Forever Skin concealer?

You know me, I don’t like telling you what to do and feel any purchase you make should be your decision. However, this concealer is such a stunning product that I would like to recommend you looking into it.
Yes this is expensive, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. I have tried many more affordable concealers that I love but that I also use up within a 4 – 8 week time span. Having to repurchase those over and over would bring the cost per use to a similar rate as this.
If you want my recommendation, I can only say I would highly recommend this concealer. It is long lasting, comes in heapes of shades and you get a lot of product for the money you pay. Well worth it if you were to ask me.
