Do you love a glowy primer as much as I do? I love a good glowy primer and when I was sent the Heimish Artless Glow Base in PR I fell in love with it instantly. Let me show you why, because seeing is believing.
I had never heard of this product before but then I looked into it and this is a cult favorite K-beauty makeup product. This is one of those ‘can do it all’ products. Is it a primer? Is it a moisturizer? Is it a sunscreen? Or maybe it is all of the above? I love using this as a primer, but you can use this as is or as a last step in a skincare routine as well.

For a glowy primer this is not too expensive. At around €15 it is definitely cheaper than the product I feel this is a great alternative for. The MAC Strobe Cream retails for over €30 for a full size, so that makes this half the price point. What does this primer have to offer?
This is a multiuse product that can do a lot of things. My favorite way to use it is as a glowy primer under makeup. What this also does is give you sun protection with an SPF 50. It has a glowy finish with a pearl formula that lightly evens out your skin tone, but without any serious coverage. Within K-beauty this is also called a Tone Up Base.
Additionally this should help improve the look of your skin. There are actual skincare ingredients in this product as it contains some fruit and thyme extracts that should even out the skin tone as well as oregano and peppermint extracts to act as an anti-oxidant.
What does this look like on the face?
The thin, easy to blend in formula feels very hydrating on the skin. It makes my skin look healthy and radiant and this is a good product if you don’t want to wear much on your skin, but you want to amp up your skin a little bit. In fact, with just a bit of concealer I think this would give you that ultimate fresh-faced no makeup makeup look.
While this hasn’t made an appearance in my shop my stash yet, I have used it enough to let you know that this also helps with making my makeup last all day. It works well under makeup, doesn’t add a heavy layer and on my dry/ dehydrated skin it ensures my skin looking flawless all day long.
Should you buy the Heimish Artless Glow Base?
The Heimish Artless Glow Base has been an instant favorite and I can’t wait for the day I use up some of my other primers so I can start using this on the daily. Especially because this is a dupe for one of my favorite glowy primers at just half the price point, I know that if I run out of both my MAC Strobe Cream and this, I would go out and repurchase this. Because unlike the MAC this also has the added SPF which my pale skin can never get enough of.
