Currently also in my Shop My Stash? The Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Bronzer. This is a product I really wanted to ty when I planned doing a full face of Make Up Revolution earlier in the year. It was on so many people’s best off lists last year that I just had to try it. Is it as good as everyone says it is?
I am always game for trying hyped up drugstore products and see if they are actually worth it. It is so much more rewarding finding gems at the drugstore. Because when the drugstore gets it right, they get it right. You know what I mean? And with this bronzer Make Up Revolution gets it right.
Review: Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Bronzer Light
As always Makeup Revolution is available at a more affordable price point. They have certainly gone up in price over time, but at around €7 for this bronzer it is an absolute steal. I bought mine through the official Revolution website, but you can pretty much buy this wherever MUR is stocked.
What does this bronzer have to offer?
Available in 5 sahdes, this cream bronzer was the hype of last year. It is a creamy yet blendable formula that should add warmth and a sunkissed look. My reason to be intrigued? The shades!
So many bronzers are too orange and warm toned, but when the light hits this just right you can see that this isn’t super orange at all, but leans on the cooler side. It’s definitely a bronzer though but it is also light enough to work on super fair skin.
What does this bronzer look like in a swatch?
You can better see the shade in a swatch. There is warmth to the shade but also quite a lot of cooler tones, which I love. The formula of this bronzer is smooth and it applies without skipping. With a finger it is quite full on, but sheered out with a brush it looks stunning and it is very easy to blend. A little goes a long way though so be careful not to get too much product out of the pan.
What does this bronzer look like on the face?
One thing I love about this bronzer is the fact that is a very effortless look. It blends in beautifully, there are no harsh lines here and on my cheek it definitely looks a bit warmer than in the pan.
What truly makes this product stand out is the formula though. A rich, creamy formula that blends like a dream but that also doesn’t budge? Sign me up because that is exactly what I need.
Should you buy the MUR Ultra Cream bronzer?
To me the Make Up Revolution Ultra Cream bronzer is one that I greatly appreciate. It does everything I need it to do while being quite affordable. Even though I love this product though, I think I have a slightly newer product that may be very similar to this and is even cheaper. So in the end this may be beaten but only by a hair.
Is this a stunning product that gets the job done? For sure. As far as a cream bronzer go it is also easy to use. I just dip my brush in once and that is enough to cover every area of my face. This may not be the best for those people with oilier skin types, but if you have dry skin or you just want to try a cream bronzer, then this is worth a shot for sure.
