Today I am showcasing my top 10 favorite periwinkle shimmers. Periwinkle is one of my favorite colorful shades for spring. I thought I had quite a few of these shades, but it turns out that finding good periwinkle shimmers is a lot harder than I thought. But these are 10 picks from my collection that I love.
A periwinkle to me is more of a blue than a purple and often falls into a pastel range. So it isn’t too dark or vibrant, yet has a whimsical shimmer that makes everything remind you of fairy dust. Blue with a bit of pinky/ purple is my favorite, preferably as a duochrome. Multichromes are stunning too but they usually add a green or peachy/ gold flip. Still pretty, just a touch less whimsical.
