In this video I am sharing with you my favorite mauve eyeshadow. I thought this would be an easy video to do. I love a good mauve. But to my surprise I don’t have that many true mauve tones in my eyeshadow collection. I have plenty of blush and lipstick in this color, but eyeshadow? Not so much. But still I managed to find 14 that I love. So let’s swatch!
I think the main reason is that mauve is a very mixed shade. It is a mix of purple, pink and grey or brown. But sometimes it’s too pink and I would categorize it as a rose tone. Or it is too purple and I would categorize it as a plum or grape. So what is a mauve tone? If you have any good recommendations, let me know!
