I’ve been promising to write this post for a few days now, but I finally got round to taking pictures. The lighting sucked, so I wasn’t able to do this before today. As I posted last week, I posted a few orders online and all of those have by now arrived. I also went out to buy some Sinterklaas presents (Dutch version of Santaclaus) and naturally picked up a few things for myself along the way. Here’s what I got:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Two NARS Blushes: in Oorgasm (left) and Sex Appeal (right)
Two Sleek I-Divine eyeshadow palets
Left: Good Girl, Right: Storm
Sephora lipstick pencil in Raspberry Vinyl, Sephora eyeshadow quad in Pin Up Show, Bourjois eyeshadow trio in Or Baroque
That’s it for make up. I got the NARS & Urban Decay stuff at a UK website called HQHair. Their shipping isn’t too outrageous to the Netherlands and they have brands you cannot get here, like NARS. I really wanted to try these blushes as, especially Oorgasm, is a staple in many collections I’ve been watching on youtube. Sex Appeal is from their 2010 Holiday collection, so that may be a limited edition, but I’m not sure on that. The Sleek stuff I got on their website. They have a few different things then I found on Dutch websites and the shipping is yet again, not too bad at all. Their eyeshadow are super pigmented and I already have a blush (in coral) which I love, so I decided to get these two palets too. The Good Girl palet is also a limited edition.
Now on to nail polishes. By now I think I can state I’m a true nail polish addict. There are so many fun colors and it’s such an easy and fun way to add a little something something to your outfits. Much easier for me than necklaces and bracelets. So here are the latest additions to the collection:
OPI: Midnight in Moscow, Lincoln Park after Midnight, Let Me Entertain You
(The last one is from the Burlesque collection)
China Glaze: Refresh Mint, For Audrey, Turned Up Turquoise, Peachykeen
China Glaze: Cowardly Lyin’, Golden Opportunity, Midnight Kisses
(The last one is from the 2010 Holiday collection)
I don’t know if you can tell from the picture, but the OPI Midnight in Moscow polish, is a very dark red. It’s like a black base with red shimmer. OPI Lincoln Park after Midnight, is a very very dark purple. I got this one, and all the China Glaze polishes from an American website: transdesign. OPI is outrageously expensive here in Holland. About €14 euros a bottle, but on this website you pay less than $6 per bottle. The shipping is quite expensive though, but for the price of 2 OPI polishes, I now bought 8! The other two OPI polishes I bought at Sephora, along with the eyeshadows and lipstick pencil you can see in the picture above.
I bought the China Glaze polishes because I don’t own a lot of pastels or golds yet. So now I got that settled as well.
There you go: the result of some online and offline shopping!
Q: What’s the last thing you bought?
