Review: Garnier Pure Active Anti-Spot Roll On

I already wrote a review a while ago about Garnier’s Eye Roller with Caffeine. Since I liked that one, I was very curious to see how well their anti-spot treatment would work.

You can see the product in the picture above. The packaging is very similar to the eye roller and it’s very handy. The top has a small ball that you can roll over a spot and then it should disappear. Here’s what Garnier says:

New Garnier Pure Active

Garnier Pure Active is our generation of concentrated formulae tested on imperfection-prone skin.

Garnier Pure Active Roll-on
76% of people tested say it had an instant drying effect**
The new roll-on revolutionary roller-ball is designed to immediately soothe and cool skin. The easy-to-use targeted application provides instant drying action and helps protect against spots on the go.

Now I don’t get a lot of spots/ zits. Only every so often and usually around that time of the month so I thought this would be perfect for me. It’s not as expensive as the eye roller, which is a plus. I believe this retails at around €7 – €8. Still not very cheap, but compared to €15 for the eye roller this is a bargain.

And the best part is: it works! It works best on spots that are only just developing, but even when you have one that popped up in the course of the night, this stuff will work. What it does exactly as what Garnier says: it dries out the spot and this way it will disappear a lot quicker.

I’m really happy I got this as now I will refrain from trying to get rid of zits the bad way (i.e. by using my nails to squeeze it out. This is a much more hygienic and efficient way, to keep spots away.

(And again a slogan. Maybe I’m in the wrong profession. I should have gone into advertising. J/k)

Q: What do you think? Would you like to try this?

  1. I am not so sure if it really is that hygenic.. Since it’s a roller and you roll it over your zit and the bacteria will stay inside the roller. Probably not my thing.. But I haven’t had a zit in over 6 months so I guess I’m good 🙂 But glad it works for you!

  2. […] The Anti-Spot Roll-On is the invention of the century. It works best when you put it on a spot/ zit and leave it on over night. When you have very ferocious zits it may take a few days before they go away, but this definitely helps to get rid of them faster. I wrote a full review on it here. […]
