Another quick and easy post as I have been out enjoying the sun yet again. I swear I have been outdoors more in the past 3 days than I have in the past 3 years! Hooray for my hayfever not acting up too much. I can tell it’s not entirely over, but I definitely don’t have to barricade myself into my room anymore lest I get horrible allergy attacks. So me outside = less time to blog. So far I’ve been to a BBQ, birthday party and I spent time outside by myself soaking up some sun rays while reading a book. Today I will be going to the beach for a few hours, so I think I won’t have much time to write an elaborate post. I hope you don’t mind! I have to get back to work tomorrow so then I’m sure things will go pretty much back to normal. For now, this is what’s on my nails right now:
This is again super easy: just a bright orange color as a base coat and then I have added a crackle polish on top for something extra. It’s what I’ve been into quite a bit lately: creamy color as a base and a sparkly/ interesting top coat to give a bit more oomph. Quick and easy yet it looks cool.
Products used:
– Etos nail hardener in extra strong as a base coat
– OPI Hot & Spicy (bright orange)
– OPI Silver Shatter top coat (crackle polish)
– INM Out the Door fast drying top coat.
I have switched out my Seche Vite top coat for the INM one. The Seche Vite topcoat got so goopy I couldn’t use it anymore. So I bought a different one. It has taken some getting used to as the INM topcoat only needs a thin layer for it to work properly. With my being used to Seche Vite which becomes thicker and goopier the longer you have it, I ruined quite a few nail looks because I just whacked on an equally thick layer of INM. Not necessary and now I think I’ve gotten the hang of it.
What’s your favorite top coat?
