FOTD: Periwinkle twinkle

Today I have a more eye centered look for you. It is based around the Inglot Pearl 249 eyeshadow, which is a gorgeous pastel blue with purple undertones, also known as periwinkle (I love that word!). It’s a very simple look again, but it’s foolproof and I think it really makes my brown eyes pop. The fact that my eyes are lined with some heavy black eyeliner definitely helps as well. This is definitely something I would wear to work or anywhere I go really.

It had been ages since I used my Inglot eyeshadow palette. It features mostly pastel colors and some brights, which is perfect for spring & summer but not so much for the winter time. Ever since the sun has been poking its head through I find myself bringing this baby out more and more often though and I’m totally rediscovering the multitude of looks it has in store for me. I can’t wait to create some more.

Products used:

Face: Missha BB cream in no. 13 Bright Beige, Benefit Erase Paste in no. 1 Fair, MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural in Medium, MAC Mineralized blush in Solar Ray

Brows: MAC Omega eyeshadow, HEMA clear brow gel.

Eyes: Inglot Freedome system palette: Pearl 429, Matte 239 & Matte 388, The Body Shop eyeshadow no. 13, MAC Blacktrack fluidline eyeliner, Maybelline The Falsies Feather in black

Lips: Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in Cherish Devotion

Close up time!

My eyeliner ended up a lot thicker than I wanted it to be, but I actually think it works. It leaves just a peep of the periwinkle color in my inner corner, while it nicely frames my eyes and opens it up a bit. I also think my lashes look super long in these pictures, so I don’t know what I’ve been doing right, but it must be something. The pink lip adds a bit of a pop of color, but it’s not too bright and I feel it nicely balances out the entire look.

What do you think?

  1. Ik vind de dikke eyeliner heel mooi staan, en oh je shirtje ziet er heel gaaf uit voor wat te zien valt!
