The 30 day make up challenge is still going strong, however I found out I made a mistake. After the green make up look, I should have done a blue one, but instead I chose the next one of the list and went with bronze. So yeah, I skipped one. My bad and I’ll make sure that I will do a blue themed look for the next 30 day make up challenge post. So today I’m featuring a peach colored make up look and I have to say this was a hard one to come up with. I even ended up using some colors I normally never use and it’s a look that just ‘happened’. It is the reason why I wanted to do this challenge in the first place, so I’m guessing it serves its purpose. Here’s the look:
First of all, apologies for the amount of pictures for this look, but many pictures came out nice and I really did like the look I came up with, so I decided to go a bit heavier on the pictures. Also apologies for the slightly squinted look I have in some of these. I’m still pretty tired all the time and you can definitely see it in my eyes. I can at least…
The look I ended up putting together features many eyeshadow which I hardly ever use. Especially the brighter color in the outer V which comes from a limited edition Sleek palette which I bought when I first got into make up and didn’t really know what I was buying. This was also a rare time where I used some blusher in my eye look as well and I even did some contouring, which again is a rarity. It doesn’t show up very well on the pictures but I’m always a bit scared to end up with brown patches on my fair skin, so I tend to go easy on the bronzer. Another first was a slightly heavier brow look.

[…] This blush was recommended to me by a MAC MUA. It’s a very pigmented blush that needs to be blended out carefully else it will make you look like a clown. However, these warm toned blushes are my favorites from MAC (as you will see below). This is a very orange looking blush and when I first saw this I was skeptical. But when applied with a light hand this is very complimentary to my complexion. I used it in one of my 30 Day Make Up Challenge posts. […]
[…] a great base shade or as a stand alone: I often simply wear some cream shadow and let that be that. Rubenesque is a stunning peach shade, and I you can see the Max Factor shade on my lids this coming Saturday. MAC’s Paradisco is […]
