While ordering the brushes I reviewed a few weeks ago, I also noticed that Zoeva has a make up line. I had read some reviews on these products on other blogs before and since I was ordering anyway, I thought I’d throw a few pieces so I could try them. I ordered a blush and two eyeliner pencils. Here are my thoughts on them.
The three products I got are the following
- Zoeva Luxe Color Blush in He Loves Me, Maybe…
- Zoeva Graphic Eyes+ waterproof pencil in Blue Lotus
- Zoeva Graphic Eyes+ waterproof pencil in Good Karma
Zoeva Luxe Color Blush in He Loves Me, Maybe…
The first item I will be talking your through is the Luxe Color Blush in the color He Loves Me, Maybe. This blush retails for €7.50 and has a pinky coral color. The compact is made in a stylish black color, comes with a large mirror and contains 8 grams of product. It is a pressed powder blush that contains no harmful ingredients for your skin. It should be easy to blend and have good staying power. I love how nice this packaging looks. The embossed motto of the brand in the blush adds to the luxurious feel of this product and you get a lot of it. So far, so good.
On my cheek
One thing I love about this blush is the fact that it is fully matte. There is not a hint of shimmer in this blush, which is great. I love matte blushes and the color really appealed to me: I didn’t have a color like this yet. The swatch shows you how well pigmented this blush is. I use a fluffy blush brush with this, so I don’t pick up too much product and it applies like a dream. It gives off just the right amount of color and the color looks very flattering on. It also stays on all day. So yes, I really really like this Zoeva make up product.

I also decided to order two of their waterproof eyeliner pencils. These retails for €5.20 a pop and I heard some great things about these. I picked a navy blue and a forest green color as I didn’t have those colors yet. These eyeliner pencils should be ultra smooth, and combine the best of both a liquid liner and a pencil. The formula should be longwearing, waterproof and be well-pigmented. Apparently you cannot use these on your waterline, but I have and they haven’t given me any problems so far.

Both colors are well-pigmented and creamy smooth. They glide onto the skin like butter which I always like with eyeliner pencils. Nothing is more annoying than a pencil liner that won’t give off any color. It simply hurts my eyes, and these most definitely do NOT do that. As you can see from the swatch Good Karma has a slight shimmer to it, but that really gives the color some dimension. Blue Lotus is a matte royal navy blue. It’s is quite possibly my favorite of the two: the color is so rich and I have found it to be quite versatile too. Here is Blue Lotus as part of an eye look I did some time ago:
Here, I’ve used Blue Lotus on the lower lash line. I never use eyeliner all along my lashline as my eyes are too small, but I always like adding a bit of definition to the outer part and that’s how I’ve used it here. The color is deep and definitely there. Plus, I can attest to the fact that these won’t budge once they set. Taking off the swatches was hard already and they had only been on my arm for a few minutes. Imagine what happens when you wear these all day. You really need a waterproof make up remover to clean this up. So this can definitely withstand teary eyes and even a few rain drops.
All in all, I really like these Zoeva make up products. I can definitely say I was surprised by the great quality and pigmentation that all of them have. I am glad to have these in my life and they have all become staples in my make up routine.
