10x favorite peach make up products

What better color to douse yourself in for spring than peach? Whether it is blush. lipstick, nail polish or even eyeshadow, when spring rolls around, peach is one of my favorite make up products to wear. And these are my favorite products to use when I try to infuse some peach into my make up look.

Wait didn’t you say there are 10 favorite peach products? Yes I did and there are, but one of them is a two-in-one. So despite the fact that you may only count 9 products in the picture above, there are in fact 10. And we’re going to start this list of products by looking at that devil in disguise first of all.

Sephora + Pantone Universe Color of the Year Blush Duo: Desert Flower & Coral

The Pantone Color of the Year of 2012 was a neat tangerine orange with just the right amount of peach. When I was in the US that year, I instantly fell for the accompanying blush in that color. This blush duo contains one matte and one super shimmery blush color. The matte is a perfect peach shade that is super pigmented. The color pay off for the shimmery shade is as intense. You can find a swatch of this shade and how they look blended together.

Kiko Rock Attraction blush in 04 Pop Apricot

This peach blush by Kiko caught my eye the minute I walked into the store in Milan last summer. It is by far the most perfect peach blush that I own. It is much more subtle and fresh looking than the one above. This adds that hint of freshness to any spring make up look.

Revlon Colorburst lipstick in 075 Peach

When it comes to lips, peach is a color that I find a little bit more difficult to pull off. I used to wear peach lip colors often when I first started wearing lipstick. But as of late, I find myself opting for different colors. However, I keep a few options around for when I do feel like rocking a more subtle lip. One of them is Revlon’s Peach lipstick. If you need a good, comfortable lip color that is easy to wear, then this lip color is one to try.

Lancome Color Fever lipstick 302 Electric Peach

One of my first bright colored lipsticks is this, by now discontinued, lipstick by Lancome was also one of my first high end lipsticks. It is a bright color, but not too bright. It has more pink undertones than many of the other products in this blog post, but on the lips this pull more peach. Again, it’s wearable and very fresh looking.

HEMA Moisturizing lipstick in 02

A budget option for a great peach lip is the HEMA moisturizing lipstick in 02. The formula is a comfortable and smooth application. It is a very natural, my-lips-but-better type of lipstick that is a great staple in any make up collection. It has a hint of shine, but once it’s on the lips the shine only leaves the color looking more natural and it isn’t too much.

MAC Cremesheen Glass lipgloss in Richer, Lusher

The final lip product that I would like to show you is an oldie but goodie by MAC. Richer, Lusher was one of my first MAC products I ever bought. By now I hardly wear it anymore since lipgloss is not necessarily one of my favorite products to wear. However, this lipgloss, paired with a matte lipstick will bring the latter more to life and make your lips look fuller and lusher. Just like the name suggests.

MAC Paint Pot in Rubenesque

One of my favorite peach make up products is this MAC Paint Pot in Rubenesque. I love wearing this in spring/ summer for just a wash of color and a hint of shine across the lid. Especially as temperatures are rising and eye looks melt away before your eyes, a thin layer of Rubenesque over a bit of eyeshadow primer will make for a fool proof make up look every time.

Swatches of all products in order of appearance

China Glaze Peachykeen nail polish
Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Papaya

Apart from peach colored make up, peach colored make up also makes for a great nail color to invest in. Excuse the look of the China Glaze polish as it has shifted badly in the bottle. However, the color still comes out fine: a pretty peach layer of color that is applied in 2 counts. There are also some great peach colored finds in the drugstore lines. Barry M has such a one which is not only a pretty peach but it is also very shiny and it is long lasting.
