My favorite tea brand is Twinings, but when I found Pukka at my local organic supermarket, it became an instant second favorite. Twinings will forever hold a soft spot, but Pukka does some amazing flavors that are great for any time of day. To top it off, their teas are organic and some even fair trade. What’s not to love?
I recently purchased some new Pukka tea again and I figured this would be the best time to introduce you to the brand and some of their flavors. These teas retail for 3.99 a pop, but I find some on sale the other making them a tad cheaper. So this isn’t cheap tea. It is some of the most delicious tea I have ever tried though. My favorite are the three mint and lemon, ginger & honey tea. The other two teas are fairly new to me. One is completely new. The other I have tried before but can’t remember what it tastes like exactly.
Pukka Three mint herbal tea (with peppermint, spearmint & fieldmint)
My favorite tea of any brand is usually mint tea. I love mint tea as I find it uplifting and invigorating. I love having mint teas in the morning as a way of kickstarting your day. Now some mint teas can taste like toothpaste, but this one does not. Despite what you might expect, this tea is intensely rich in flavor and truly packs a punch. It is a little bit sweet but nothing too much while the spearmint gives it the kick it needs. This tea is also ethically sourced and 100% organic.
Pukka Lemon, Ginger & Manuka Honey herbal tea
The best tea when you have a sore throat, you lose your voice or when you are in need of something heartwarming and soothing is this! The ginger warms this up, while the lemon and honey give it flavor and a bit of zing. I usually drink this when I am sick or when it is freezing cold outside. This tea contains tumeric as well as fennel and licorice which adds to its healing properties. I find this tea always gives me a boost, whether it is from its enveloping warmth or its soothing properties.
Pukka Peppermint & Licorice herbal tea
Like the mint tea, this Peppermint & Licorice tea has very few ingredients. Just peppermint and licorice in fact, which is also 100% organic. I have had this in the past, but can’t really decide anymore on how much I liked this. I usually go with the first two as they are my favorite. However, I usually love the sweet licorice flavor and if I like anything mint when it comes to tea so I’m sure it will be fine. Teas like this I like to savor and save for a sweet treat once in a while.
Pukka Cool Mint Green herbal tea
I love Starbucks’ Spearmint Green tea and when I saw this, I was hoping this would be similar to that. It was a tea I hadn’t seen from this brand before, so I haven’t tried this yet. And this tea is even more special. Apart from it being 100% organic, it is also 100% fairtrade. That, combined with a hopefully good quality green tea, infused with spear mint will hopefully give me that satisfying feeling that I know a spearmint green tea can give me. I am excited to try this.
What is your favorite brand of tea?

Gewoon proberen, zeker als je van thee houdt.
Hi, I love Twinings tea as well one of my favourites is their lady and earl grey. Pukka is another one of my favourites, with their three mint tea being my favourite mint tea at the moment. I got a mini Pukka selection and am loving my way through it, Chloe.
