There are so many cool pieces floating around now, but I’m trying to be a good girl and not spend all my money as I’m trying to save up for a house this year. That’s why I am currently on a pretty much all out fashion no buy, which is why I can only lust after pieces, rather than actually adding them to my wardrobe. But hey ho, I figured, why not share the fun and post a fashion wishlist on the blog. Here is my current fashion wishlist.
Pink dress | H&M €39.99
Trench coat | H&M €69.99
Since it’s spring I love a good dress. This pink lace number is chic and cute and if it fits well this is the type of clothing item that would look really nice on. A trench coat has been on my fashion wishlist for so long, but I have never found the right one. Would this one be perfect?
Light blue frilly dress | Urban Outfitters €55
Striped blue dress with embroidered ruffle sleeves | Boohoo via Asos €29.33
Ruffles are everywhere this season, hence there are a lot of items in this wishlist. I like the wrap around detail on the first dress here. That can be very flattering if you have a bigger bust and some curves like me. The other dress is really cute, but I doubt it would look good on me. I have quite broad shoulders as it is, but I think it looks adorable.
Pink ruffle dress| H&M €19.99
Pink long sleeved ruffle dress | Mango €49.99
Rather than just cute and ditsy, ruffle items can also be more boho. That is certainly the case for these two dresses. One is a perfect summer dress for hotter days. The other is more dressy and would be perfect for the summer wedding I have coming up in August. Problem is that dusty rose and pinks can make me look a little bit drab, so I’m not sure on the color of these.
Black swing dress with trumpet sleeves | ASOS €33.33
Tie sleeve mini dress | Urban Outfitters €55
A button through swing dress is one that has been on the wishlist for some time. I ordered one from Urban Outfitters last year, but it didn’t fit, so I’m hoping I’d fare better with these. The black on is nice and simple, but the trumpet sleeve gives it something extra. Whereas the patterned one is subtle and I love the subdued color of it. Again, tricky shade to pull off, but I love how the tie detail on the sleeve really give this dress something extra.
Red tie front floral dress | New Look via ASOS €33.32
Navy polka dot jumpsuite | ZARA €29.95
Red is my favorite color and when I decluttered my wardrobe I got rid of most of my floral dresses. They just seemed a little young on me. I think this might also be, but it’s still a style I like. Alternatively, this frilly jumpsuit from ZARA could also be a great piece to add to my wardrobe. I love polkadots and this is one of those pieces you could dress up or down.
White lace dress | H&M €39.99
With H&M I feel that if you spend a little bit more, the quality also goes up. But still, this is a white dress. It’s a very cute white dress, but it’s such a difficult color to wear. Not only does it clash with my pale skin, it is also a nightmare to keep clean. I’m such a clumsy person and white items just always get stained so easily.
Black tie front trousers | H&M €24.99
Burgundy satin trousers | H&M €29.99
Jeans are an item I have enough of, but I don’t own that many non-jeans bottoms when it comes to pants. I already own a black and burgundy pair of trousers, so these two are definitely not a necessary purchase if I were to order them. The black trousers are cool because of the tie waist. The burgundy pair is supposed to mimic satin, which I find intriguing.
Faux leather pink skirt | ZARA €19.95
Pink frill skirt | Mango €25.99
Pink is still hot and happening and I’ve been spotting these pink mini skirts which I love. The ZARA skirt is cool as it could easily be used to add a different texture to an outfit. The Mango skirt I love, because yes of the frill detail. I’m again not sure whether these would look good on, but they are certainly worth a try.
White t-shirt | H&M €7.99
Turquoise t-shirt | H&M €9.99
Some basic t-shirts are also a must. I actually had to get rid of my basic white tee as it had just become too grubby. So I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect one. I’ve been slowly introducing colored t-shirts back into my wardrobe and I thought this turquoise color would be a nice addition.
Striped t-shirt | Mango €9.99
Gingham blouse | Mango €29.99
Two iconic prints: stripes and gingham! But in slightly different renditions. Red stripes are all the rage right now and I love a good red any day, so this is right up my street. Gingham is another print that I love and that I have several pieces of. But not yet a blouse. I saw this in store actually and secretly fell in love.
Black blazer | ZARA €69.95
Black frilly top | €19.95
Black blazers are a classic, like the trench coat. However, I don’t own a plain black blazer. They simply never fit me right. This seems nice and slouchy though which mostly suits my style. Plumetis tops are also on trend this season. I already own two tops with this type of fabric, but this is even more current as it has frilly ruffles as well.
Black western boots | ASOS €86.66
Pink loafers| H&M €39.99
This wishlist would be incomplete with some shoes. I’ve been eyeballing the boots since they launched on the ASOS website. I just can’t justify paying this amount of money for a pair of black boots that I won’t wear until fall though. I just hope they go on a massive sale during the summer sales and snatch them up. The pink loafers are super cool, but they are a pink suede which is a nightmare to keep clean. I already ordered these but returned them as I am hoping they will go on sale too. They are cute, but definitely not a necessary purchase.
Silver heels | H&M €39.99
Baby blue heels | H&M €59.99
Last but not least, I have been lusting after these heels by H&M. A pair of silver, strappy heels has been on my wishlist for 2 years. However none of them fit me right as my feet are too wide and it just looks silly. I kinda love the light suede colored shoe trend at the moment, but like the pink loafers these would be a nightmare to keep in tip top shape.
