Styling western boots

Western boots is one style of shoe that never goes out of style. They come back in slightly different renditions all the time. Mine are from Asos and I bought them a year or two ago. I had been lusting after a pair for ages, but couldn’t find the right ones. Till I found these ones. They are ankle height, have a pointed toe, patent leather in a slightly contrasting color and they have steel tips and heels. And they are super versatile.  styling western boots

Outfit 1 is super easy but stylish. A structured blazer with a simple dress in similar colors as the shoes makes for a well-rounded outfit that is not too coordinated. The shoes have some burgundy patent leather accents on the tips and heels which ties in with the color of the dress. The blazer has a touch of white which breaks up the color scheme and keep the outfit from becoming too dark. Basic, but comfy.

This next outfit repeats the color scheme of the first outfit, but it adds a touch of metallic. This jacket is one of the stand out pieces in my wardrobe. It was a bit of a splurge, but this metallic bomber jacket is so much fun to wear. It also adds a bright element and ties in nicely with the steel details on the shoes. To keep everything in line with one another, I just paired it with a pair of black skinny jeans and a basic t-shirt to make the jacket center stage.

But these boots are also perfect to pair with a bit more edgy outfit. This one is classy on top, but a bit biker girl at the bottom. This skirt is one of my favorites in my wardrobe as it adds a more rock n roll vibe to everything you wear. It keeps the shirt from looking too much like a pajama top and scales it up to the type of outfit you might wear to a night out.

Dress | ASOS

What better way to style these boots than with a grungy 90s style dress? This dress is one of my favorites to wear in the fall. It has a sweetheart neckline and a cut out in the back. I usually pair it with a basic cardigan and black tights as the print is so bold. Since the background is black, it makes for a great moody fall floral, which is why it pairs so well with the boot.

However, these darker booties also pair well with a lighter color palette as well. The top has a miniscule black stripe but it mostly white. The skirt is again burgundy: I just love pairing these boots with outfits that have other burgundy accents in it. This corduroy skirt is one of my particular favorites and is perfect for the fall time. It is thick enough and with a pair of black tights in varying levels of opacity, you can wear it all fall and winter.
