2019 favorites base products makeup foundation concealer primer powder

We only have a few days left in 2019 so time to gather my thoughts and my favorites and chat to you about them. In total I have 4 videos for you and today we are kicking things off with my favorite base products of the year. And I do apologize for the lack of blog posts, but apart from work being busy, my photohosting site has been down for days and my mom was admitted to the hospital last week too. In short, too much to deal with so my social media presence has been turned down to the bare bare minimum.

Right now i’m mostly wearing Glossier and Laura Mercier bases but for a long time it was Catrice. I absolutely love that brand. The quality and payoff of the products is impeccable and rivals high end products for their price!

I have just bought some Glossier to try. Really curious after their concealer. And yes for another Catrice fan. They have such great base products.

The stretch concealer is so beautiful. I wear glasses so it’s important my concealer looks fresh and doesnt crease or look dry or cakey and this is the one. Catrice is amazing !

Okay so I don’t have a lot of luck with base products, but one I discovered this year is Time Balm by thebalm. I think it’s a pretty good concealer. The color is good for me, it’s not too light and sometimes I tend to use concealers that are too light!

It definitely is trial and error. I never found anything that worked for me either, but then I got to know my preferences more and I am now quite good at telling what will and what will not work for me.
