For someone who loves cool tones, I sure have a bunch of warm toned palettes. Even though they are not my favorites, I still like trying them and a few of my all time favorite palettes are more warm toned. So it really is one of those situations of ‘don’t knock it till you try it’. Most people have and love warm tones and it is what most people in the beauty community seem to love. This is the selection I have in my makeup collection.

    Of all these the only one I have is Too Faced “Sweet Peach”. I think it’s interesting how you said that a good quality eye shadow is not that it goes on with a lot of pigment, but one you can build instead. That’s true of UD and Too Faced, I’ve found. “Sweet Peach” is just okay, imo and I think that I’m discovering that cooler colors look better on my eyes than warmer ones. My eye color itself is cool, my eye brows are cool and my hair (naturally) is a cool ashy black. But funny enough, my skin has warm undertones.

      Yeah I think you would look good in greys and taupes. It would also go well with your retro aesthetic.
