Essence Semi Shine lipstick review

Today we are reviewing the new Essence This Is Me Semi Shine lipsticks. This is a new line of lipsticks that was newly launched for the fall/ winter 2020 season. This is hopefully a comfortable easy to wear lipstick formula that is very affordable as Essence lipsticks always are. So let’s have a closer look at these, do some swatches, try them on my lips and give you a full low down.

Let’s have a closer look at these lipsticks…

The full line of lipsticks is not that interesting overall. It has some very light neutral shades. It wasn’t until we got to the last three that I really started loving these. As you will be able to see in the video and when you scroll down to the try on pictures below, I found most of these shades to be a bit boring, dated and underwhelming. The texture is lovely though.

So please watch the full video for my thoughts on these lipsticks. They are very nice and very unexpected as Essence usually doesn’t make my favorite lipstick. But for this round of all the new lipsticks that have come out from Essence and Catrice, Essence definitely takes the cake.
